@@giom9842 Mallorca remain in La Liga so he has a chance to improve still. He is only 21 so if he cant hack it in this World Cup then the tournaments in the lead up to 2026 will be his chance to shine

Hopefully Malik gets another opportunity to prove himself in the September window

@tiki taka Bruh, don't try to make us the villain here! Look at it from OUR perspective, not yours! Do you NOT understand that we NEED World Cup-level opponents to play seriously against to prepare for the WC because WE.HAVE.NO.COMPETITION.IN.CONCACAF. Mexico is trash now and Canada is the only team left but they had their own problems. We can't afford to just be casual about our friendlies for this reason. Why were you expecting a normal friendly against the US?? Were the intentions not made CLEAR during the negotiations between federations for the friendly or are you just trying to make US the bad guy for no reason, like everybody else?? When we say our available A-team players are gonna play, we want you to play your best, too! If you can beat us, then BEAT US! Uruguay did just that when they destroyed Mexico 3-0 with their available A-team players. Our A-team players want to know where they're at as a national team *before* the world cup, not after, and they can't do that if no one takes them seriously. No hard feelings, though.

@tiki taka Good banter 😅 We had the opposite problem. Our country learned late that actual skill/ability was needed to compliment athleticism so we can compete for a higher place in competitions and to play better football. There is still a long, long way to go, and we need to keep producing better players, fast. As much as we would love to see a North and South American merge/consolidation, it is difficult to see happening. The effects of frequent air-travel alone will be a major burden on the players. We do want frequent invitations to South America's Copa America tournament though. Thanks for the vote of confidence! I hope Morocco does well too, may they fight as hard as any other team to get out of their group 🤝

If we get better players they HAVE to get integrated as soon as possible. Talent is required to have a chance, stop thinking like in the past, it never got us anywhere. Candidates to be replaced in the starting lineup as soon as someone legit comes along are: LB: Robinson (Fulham is nothing, EPL or not) CBs: Long and EPB (CCV is a servicable backup, Brooks should still be starting) Strikers: Every. Single. One. (We hoped Malik Tillman or Weah could help, but...) MLS players: everyone except maybe Zimmerman. Eyes on Ferreira...

@@KenDaKingArrives you don’t know nothing about soccer you need kick some rocks Brazil, Germany keep most of there players together so it can be done of course you can test out 1 or 2 new talented but not change out the whole team. US soccer squad is known for changing out there whole team every year that’s why there is no team chemistry between players most of these players don’t even know each other names so go some where you don’t know nothing about soccer.
