How do u stay calm in uni?

I absolutely love your videos honestly, they are so motivating for me as an avid procrastinator 😭 I've just received an offer from Warwick for maths and philosophy (the conditions are A*A*B which is,,, hurting me slightly) and I just wanted to ask whether you knew how 'unusual options' (ie options taken as a maths student which are outside of the maths department) work, especially with overcatting? Sending love from rural England :))

Wooo how exciting! Maths and Philosophy here is a great course. I can only speak confidently for the "Maths" degree - I'm not entirely sure how joint honours works exactly with CATs. For the Maths degree, you have 100 compulsory CATs first year and then you pick options of between 20-50 (it should say on the website what that split is for Maths and Philosophy). There is a list of modules that you can certainly pick from every term (they're a combination of Physics, Philosophy, Stats, Economics and Business mainly), but if you want to do a module that isn't listed you can contact the module's department directly to get their permission to take the module and then sort that out through the outside department, rather than the Maths department enrolling you. There are no limits set within Maths on what modules you pick from other departments. With overcatting, there are a lot of technicalities (and they don't explain them fully - they explained that they take all the power set of your combinations then pick the largest scoring one that satisfies all conditions), but they basically take your compulsory modules and then your highest scoring options up to 120 CATs :) Essentially, you do the core stuff then pick whatever else you want to fill the rest of the CATs haha

I got it from amazon - it was a brand called "NPA" but they're unavailable right now :( Before this one I had a Paperchase one that was really good! It's just a standard A5 black dotted bullet journal that I line myself)

With my course you take min 2 max 4 (approximately) optional modules and I chose to take my optionals from the Physics department!
