Oh the days when my eyelid was that smooth… how I wish I could get those back!

I barely comment on any video but OH MY GOD!!!! I used to watch your videos when i was just new to makeup and was around my 1st year of college. I learnt so many looks and techniques from you. I was thinking about you today and I was wondering about how cool it would be to get a new video on how to apply makeup with fingers. My nerve pain is the worst and I have to use my hands as little as possible. I see that as a sign for me to give it a try. Thank you so much for everything you do. If you're looking for an eyeshadow that goes on easily with fingers, I have fallen in love with the Charlotte Tilbury Eyes to Mesmerise cream eyeshadows. I've seen people talk about them for years, and finally bought a couple for myself and my mum when CT had a discount code offer. They are expensive, but absolutely worth it. From my research, they are one of the few cream eyeshadows that never dry out, and per gram of product they are much better value than one of her eye crayons for example! The formula is beautiful and really makes the eyelids look smooth, and it's so easy to blend or layer as needed. I personally like a cream eyeshadow that doesn't set down because they're far more forgiving on my hooded eyes. I'm so glad I got them, and they're easy to apply with a finger or a brush! (You can use one finger to apply and then a brush or a second finger to buff out the edges a little) I find cream blush and highlight really easy to apply with fingers too. Good luck! I just love your videos! I have small, hooded, mature eyes. I usually do a look like this-no dark colors-just something to define the eyes. Can you recommend an appropriately shaped blending brush for the smaller eye?

I’m not sure exactly which brush, but Morphe tends to make smaller brushes that work better for my small eyes.

Thanks for listing the products but which eyeshadow primer do you use? I started with Urban Decay’s original. Then everyone’ seemed to use Mac paint pop in Masterly. I can’t put my finger on it, but it just doesn’t look ‘right’ even after I set it. Anyone who’d like to help please reply with your favourite. I am quite fair and have vitiligo. I have no actual pigment on lids/underlines, so everything shows ☹️

What product is the one you're showing on screen, what shade, please?

I mean the tone of it, so image you had a drop of paint that matches all those things and you mixed them all together you’d get this colour that’s right for you, it’s the most perfect shade for you, it’s like your blush but more bronzery, like your contour but more nude lipstick toned, it’s all those tones in one eyeshadow, does that make sense?? Also I love your pigeons picture, did you see my baby pigeons on my page? 🐦

Do you think so? I have taught this to many a hooded and monolid person, they always benefit from it. What is it that you feel doesn’t apply to hooded eyes?

I wanted to subscribe, but since you don't list the brands and colors you're using, I decided not to. Will also avoid your videos in the future.

Funny but I find her videos refreshing because she’s spending her time giving a lesson and not on selling a product. Frankly the colors she uses are very common and easy to find. I’m sorry you’ll miss out on these great tutorials.

The brands and colours I use might not be available for you, that’s why I don’t push products and brands. I explain the type of colour and finish you need FOR YOU, I would hate if someone bought something that works for me but doesn’t look good on them, would be such a waste. You also likely have a shade like I explain already, you can use your bronzer mixed with a touch of your blush, or look any palette that has nudes, and find a shade that works right for you with a matte finish with my instructions that is should look like your favourite nude lipstick shade but in an eyeshadow form. I’m not a fan of selling, I wanna teach so I guess yes, you should likely avoid my channel, I’m not in it for money, I want to help people feel confident ❤
