dude i love watching your vids, but i have bad OCD and find i need to watch your vids over and over and over. could you slow down just a little. Im 60 years old and have been playing with my bass for many years but i cant play songs just scales which i love to do. Im trying so hard to learn rhythm but for me its the hardest thing of all. thank you for your vids I will not give up.

Use the little settings cog on the video to slow it down.

I'm a little confused on the dotted notes

Half the value of the note that is dotted. Dotted quarter note is a quarter note and a half quarter note. Dotted eighth note is an eighth note and a half eighth note. And so on. If quarter note is 60, then a dotted quarter note is 90. Or, if a quarter note is counted as “one” then a dotted quarter note is counted as “one and”.

That top doesn’t suit you - better off with a nice white shirt.
