You and Billy should do a true beginner quilt tutorial series. I believe there are a lot of people who would benefit from starting from the basics.

This was so much fun to watch! You forget about how much vocabulary is used in quilting that others may not understand. Billy, you rocked that pillowcase (and the gas pedal to the metal) and Sherri is definitely a teacher at heart.

What gorgeous children you have there Sherri... This is the best tutorial ever. I was dying watching him iron. Brut strength with flatten that Billy. Lol. I'm being funny but he was very brave for doing this... He is definitely out of his element... Now he will at least have a new appreciation for all your hard work and everything you do for all of us. Your channel is my favorite... I Love everything you guys make.

He will be a pro before you know it!!! It’s funny that you cut out his fabric. He’s heavy handed on the iron, can’t imagine him with a rotary cutter! Thank you Billy for letting us see you sew. Your Mom & Sister are pros at it. I never doubted that you would be good at it too! 💙🧵😍

SO glad to see the handsome face behind the voice!! I taught a class five 7 to 11 year olds (who were very wiggly and easily distracted) earlier this week and we used this same pattern. We started at 9:30 AM, took a 40 minute lunch break, and did not finish up until 3:00 PM. I never dreamed that it would take so much time! In the end each of the kids had a beautiful pillowcase that they were very proud of to take home.

This reminds me of teaching my goddaughter how to sew/quilt. In the beginning you have to teach them every little detail, the lingo and how to be safe. She would ask me " Are these the right fabric colors or thread choices"? I would tell her "That you are the artist, you decide. There is no right or wrong color. Whatever makes your heart sing". She enjoyed the freedom of choice. Something her art teacher did not agree with. For everything we made we also made a duplicate to donate. I taught her we create for our soul and we give for our heart. She really enjoyed the whole process. Billy you are fortunate to being taught a long life gift. Great job.
