Beginner Drawing Tutorials: Basic Warmup Exercise: How to get better at drawing circles!

Drawing doesn't have to be scary, even if you're just starting out as an adult! It takes time and practice to get good at drawing, but if you start off your sessions with this basic warmup exercise, you will find your circles, straight lines, triangles, squares and rectangles get better and better!
The emphasis here is not on being perfect, but getting your hands ready for the task ahead. After this quick 15 minute routine, your hands will be warmed up and ready for your ideas to come alive!

Yes yes yes squishy 💜 I try to use my shoulder and not my wrist I’m so bad for it 🙈 I’d love to see more tutorials in this series anything would be helpful. And yaaaay to the singing squish. Booop love you 🥰

Aww squishy, no one is perfect!! I draw with my wrist sometimes too, it depends on the size of the item! The key with anything is practice, practice practice! Boop! Love you too!
Super great tips Laura! Really appreciate you showing this. I have such a hard time with stars and hearts. They never look symmetrical (I think that’s the word 🤔). Would love to see how you tackle them. Thank you so much lovely lady 🥰

It's on the list Natalie!! Although I've always found asymmetrical hearts particularly endearing and do that intentionally sometimes! ❤
This looks like a fun exercise and would like to see more drawing tutorials. I don't draw but there are times in coloring books where the pages needs sonething else, to fill in some blank spaces or to add imbeliments, sorry I can't be more specific Take care, keep singing and hope you are having a good week
