_______ Burdock is an outstanding and versatile wild edible...from using it's root to make meatballs, pepperoni, as a soda or even candied as a healthy treat! Burdock's stalk as an artichoke and the stems as green beans or pickles...the nourishment is off the charts! As a root vegetable, it possesses considerably stronger antioxidant activity than common vegetables and fruits. A superfood!
BURDOCK for every health challenge (just about), Burdock to eat in a gazillion different ways or Burdock just to play around with....
This plant ROCKS!!

burdock is really easy to cultivate.. some people build tall boxes.. 3 or 4 feet tall but 6 inch x 6 inch square.. then they fill the box with soil and plant the burdock in the top.. the box is made in such a way that one side can be removed to harvest the root...roots can grow up to 4 feet long.. also the seeds can yield a good cooking oil...they are 50% oil....the seeds can be cold pressed for the oil

I had never heard about seeds yielding a cooking oil! Can you send me the info on this?

You are always such an inspiration. Due to work and school I've gotten away from herbs but I plan on getting back to nature. And you just gave me an idea to plant burdock. I hope it grows in central florida. Xoxo
