Delicious! I love sweet potato leaves. I planted cuttings 2 weeks ago from a bundle of the veggie that I bought at the wet market. Getting bushier now, soon harvestable. I normally stir fry or cook as a watery soup or cook it in creamy coconut milk. When stir fry, I stir fry the leaves in pounded garlic-onion-chili-dried anchovies (or dried shrimp)-shrimp paste. These stuff coarsely pounded. As a watery soup, boil water till boiling, add salt, sugar, stock cubes (beef or chicken or fish), onion, garlic, chili and finally the veggie (I seperated leaves from stems and leaf stalks, add the stalk/stems first, then leaves). For coconut milk gravy, just add the coconut milk to the watery soup.

In addition to not enjoying red meat, you can realize that it causes cancer and heart disease and is even insulinogenic, whereas greens reverse these issues.

Thank you for the wonderful recipe! I have a question, I am growing sweet potato leaves using a sprouted sweet potato from Costco (Nature's Pride). I noticed the leaves are a bit different than the ones presented in your video...do the evangaline variety also have edible leaves? I read somewhere that the seeds and possibly the stems could contain an LSD-like compound, but I can't find much information on which specific varieties are safe! :/ Thanks Again! :)

The leaves melt in your mouth. I love it. My australian grass keets love it too. I'd like to add that doing keto for 2 years I cannot eat spinach or carrots any more. They are too sweet and gross.

Thank u for this video. I had heard you could eat these leaves but it was only after I had already fed them to the chickens last year. This year, I want to cook and try them out. Question: have you ever frozen these and, if so, did you cook them first and then freeze them?
