I personally don’t like the new bikes. I’ve always loved the 2 headlight look on the roadglide. The new ones look like an electric spaceship. And im no speed junkie so as long as this 107 move we gliding. Hell I was looking for a 107 Crate motor to have on standby

I bought my 2017 Road Glide special brand new and I love every inch of it. I put alot of jewelry on it and It only has 4200 miles on it. I would upgrade the motor before I trade it. Feels good not see a statement in the mail from Harley Davidson financial 😁

I don't blame you, same here. I would not trade my 2018 Road Glide for a new one. Finally got it how I wanted it, it hauls butt look and sound amazing. And most of all paid for.

I have a ‘24 CVO Road Glide ST that I’m putting a Khrome Werks Outlaw Eclipse 2 into 1 on that I bought 2 weeks ago; strong bike! Can’t say I like it anymore than the first Harley I bought back in October, a ‘23 Road Glide Special. At the 1000 mile service I added a torque cam, Khrome Werks Aggressor exhaust and all the things a CVO comes with. I didn’t like the new style until I saw the CVO ST. The Specials have the double headlights that remind me of an oil cooled Gixxer, the extended bags and progressive wheels, which are all the things I love about the Road Glide that they took away with the new style. I also have a ‘22 Busa and a ‘23 GSXR-1000 that are on one of Moore Mafia’s recent videos being dyno tuned and Brock’s cams installed in the Busa. At 50 years old these Harleys make me want to get rid of the sport bikes. I’m keeping the Special for long rides and riding my wife and kids; it has a Chopped Tour Pack. And the CVO ST for not so long rides and playing on the streets.

I agree. I’m only 1.5yrs in on my 22RGS trade in value would put me negative equity plus the things I’ve done to the bike to make it mine out weigh the new ones. Sure I’d like to have it but financially it’s just not smart. My last Harley I had 22yrs since brand new on the floor so you never know how long I’ll have this one. lol

Spot on Mac but I was one of those guys that had to have the new 2024 road glide. And there’s not any air cleaners out there yet that I like.

I love my Road King !! Don't get rid of it. You'll regret it.

I have a 2012 RG (103) countless upgrades over the years. I almost pulled the trigger last year on a 23 RG limited. I couldn’t do it! My Bike is free and clear and i would have had to start over again with mods just to get the bike to fit me, not to mention 0 vs $500 plus a month for a few years.

Got my first ever Harley back in Sept 2023, I went and test rode a 23 107 and 24. I didn't care for the new one and when I asked about trade in numbers, my 2015 RG lost 7k in value which is insane. Dealer told me to pay down by 10k which won't happen. Honestly my 103 is good enough for me, it's a cruiser after all and not a rice rocket. No I wish had waited for the trade ins flooding the floor this spring and could've got a 22-23. Putting electronics on a bike is a bad idea because of the elements we tend to ride in. Plus electronics fail more than mechanical (My IT brain kicking lol), and then the audio is a disappointment as well.

Well said Mac, I wanted the new 2024 RG CVO ST and my dealer here was only giving me $21K for my 2022 Road Glide, I have invested over 60K in it. That was a quick decision for me...

I have seen alot guys fall for the hype. It doesn't make sense to me to trade a highly modified bike and start over because of a 117 and electronics that will give you problems down the road.

Excellent video. First Harley for me. Just bought a 21…now I know why I got a deal on it. 107, now what?…build it out. No choice. I’m into these payments now. I’m keeping this one, but the next bike will be better. Once you start putting money into it, you’ll never get it back. You have to do it because you love what you do.

I made the jump from a 21 RG to my 24 RG and don’t regret it at all

I only traded my 23 Low Rider S for a new 24 RG because it was an evolution of the M8 and I saw Matt Laidlaw go for it so I followed. Matt Laidlaw had a M8 107 2018 for 6 years, he's a smart cat I don't he would have done it if he didn't have confidence in the bike, he didn't change up to the 114. Lastly, the Low Rider S no matter what do to it still can't top a bagger for touring.

Mac, I love my 2020 RGS. Not looking to get rid of it anytime soon. I don’t care what anyone else has or what’s new. My bike is setup for me and I enjoy it. Not really into performance bikes. I’m pulling just enough power out of my 114 to cruise nicely to the places I want to go. I wouldn’t think of getting rid of Bipolar. It’s built to your lines and specifications. You are killing me with the negativity on the 107😂 My 2021 FLHX Ive had since new, got 23k miles on it, put a S&S 475 cam, adjustable push rods, new lifters, hi performance oil pump,,, Rhinehart slimline full exhaust,, it sounds and runs amazing,,,, With all that said,, DAM the 24 Road Glide is a fine looking bike!🏍️🏍️🏍️

That front end and headlight is just too hideous for me. It looks just like an Indian. I got a 23 Road glide special! Nothing sexier looking in my opinion.

I have a 22 Fat Bob. It was the bike that brought me to HD. I love it. I’m sportbike guy first, but the Fat Bob spoke to me. Now comes the CVO ST. Gotta have it. I’d take a severe beating if I tried to trade the Fat Bob, can’t do. So, there will be two bikes in my garage!

Dude I came from sportbikes to a 22 Fat Bob also.It was the bike that brought me to HD also. I put a lot of extras on it but ive traded for a new Black RKS.Enjoy the new bike🤠

I got a 2018 Road Glide CVO a few months ago. I love it! Only 10,000 miles on it but I came close to trading it in the other day for the new Road Glide CVO ST. Just couldn't deal with that price right now. Maybe next year though, that new design is calling me!

thanks for the video, very informative. I have a 21 ultra in snake venom with detach kit and it has stage 2 fuel reaper 472 and what not and does pretty good. Was going to get the new bike, but..... maybe I should just do a 128" on mine and keep going.

Hi Mac. I just bought a used RKS 2023 and dont wanted to wait on the 2 new bikes. I dont have such money and wanted to go back to RKs after 1/2 year and 20.000km’s on my Ultra Ltd 2021. This RKS 114 stage 1 is just perfect for me. Light, nimble, easy cornering and beautiful in my opinion. I’am 63 yrs old…thats needs to say. We don’t creditcard our bikes here in the Netherlands. Its payed and its mine😅. I hope i will keep this one till my retirement 🎉🎉🎉🎉. ( the new 2024 style i dont like very much. The rear is scooterloook and lights are from a KIA….😮😂😂😂😂). Truth! I jumped the gun when I traded my 2014 flhtk for a 2018 FLHTK …the new bikes gotta work out some bugs… I wasn’t upside down but was a no brainer for me to go 107 from 103 … same payment 4 years newer less miles…🤷‍♂️ 👊 I’m a little older I’ll roll with what I got…

I’m so happy with my 2020 114. I would buy an Ultra Limited or SG to go with it. At some point I want to stop trading in and start adding on.

2024 standard u can cam it up with the SE515 (ST cam) and use Harley tuner. Make 130 something tq Not bad for a 117 and SE parts

Road King all day! I have a 103 road king classic and I love it, maybe one day I'll upgrade to a M8.

I HAVE A 2012 ROAD GLIDE WITH THE 103 ENGINE LOVE THE BIKE AND I HAVE NOT HAD ANY PROBLEM OUT OF MINE . I WILL KEEP TILL I START HAVING MAJOR PROBLEMS. THEN I TRADE IT IN

There's always going to be something bigger and better out there. I bought my Snake Venom RGS in December for $25k with thousands of upgrades and only 2600 miles. Harley offered 28K for it. But with all the upgrades that the previous owner did, it just didn't make sense.
