Bergen County H-D Are the Best, I been though what you went through with them Roughly 7 times, since 1991 👍🇺🇸

One of the greatest experiences is buying a new Harley and can be an awesome fun experience or can be a nightmare depending on dealership. I was a customer at Danbury Harley for many years and early on had a great experience for the first three bikes I bought there. Last two bikes i bought there in 2021 was a nightmare and would never buy or recommend anyone going there to buy a bike. Fortunately I live in Florida now and Palm Beach Harley have been awesome to work with!!!

After your first year with Progressive don't be surprised if they raise your premium. Mine went from like $350 to $500 in year 2. I have American Modern now and they have been awesome.

@@MK87_ American Modern has added benefit of replacement coverage. Stolen or totaled they will give you what you paid back in order to buy a new bike. I don't work for any insurance companies I promise lol.

Expect to bargain your butt off. Spend a lot of money. But walk out with that new bike, man there is no words. Bought 2 new Harley bikes and they were completely different experiences. One time it was a buyers market (2017). Other time was a seller market(2021).

One of the better buying a bike at a HD dealership videos. Bergen is one of the better looking and set up dealerships. Wish you had spent more time capturing sales dialogue when you and he checked out your bike.

Bergen County guy here. I always tell myself to stop in there, but never go. This twisted the arm a bit. Next time I'm out on 17 I'm stopping in.

Fuarkkkkk. Such a classy paintjob. Looks like a sunburst fade on a Gibson Les Paul. Pair that up with a Marshall speakerset and you'll feel like a rock star every ride.

Sunburst on a Fender P or J bass! That's bringing out the low end sound of Harley pipes.

Most Harley dealers sell over MSRP best case you buy it for sticker

Wish we could have such an experience when buying a HD here in Europe… here they won’t even give you a key ring and on the delivery day they’ll basically throw the keys at your face. Experienced in several dealerships, not just by me.

buy direct if you have an HD contact who can do it for you, and skip the dealership bs. Not found an honest dealership yet. bought my last 3 bikes this way. FJ RG , '24 RG ST, '23 PanAm. Not had a single issue as long as you're paying cash / check / card and not financing.

Dont forget the "sunken time factor"....my first Harley buying experience i was seriously at the dealer for like 3+ hrs it was dreadful.....the second was at least 2 hrs which was baffling because i had cash in hand thay time so i was confused as to what the hell was taking so long. Both times seriously just sitting there for no reason other than sunken time

So JR here's the MAGICAL question: The video is 13:22 long. How long did the actual ordeal take? from the moment you walked and said, "I want THIS bike!" until you finished the new bike walkaround? I know mine was a damn-near all-day extravaganza.

When I bought my Indian I got nearly $900 to spend on gear, I bought my RGS and I got a free T-shirt lol.

That’s not how process is in all Harley dealers especially not here in Las Vegas. FIRST is always the credit application. Typically you do that online before walking into dealership. You will get your approval online from Harley. You can then text to the dealer if you know your salesman. The financing is ALWAYS the first step. Not the negotiating because you don’t even know if you will be approved. Or approved for how much etc. Banking is always first then the sales manager can work the deal for you so you can negotiate price in terms. And have insurance agent in house is not legal here and you also must get your own plates. But pretty much the financing is always done first. You don’t need to know the bike you want but do need to know max dollar amount you can get approved for which then determines which bikes you can look at to buy. From start to finish here your in the dealer at least 3-4 hours if things go fast.

Harley bikes are pricey maybe because just look at the number of employees working there that have to be paid decent living wage.

I think only the "Icon" bikes are numbered. (this year is the Hydra-Glide). The "Enthusiast" bikes, (like this one) are just a limited edition of less than 2000 per model. If I'm wrong; don't sue me.

Why drop all that money on the RG and trade it in knowing no dealership in the world is going to give you a third of the amount of money spent on the upgrades? I do have to say the bike you traded was finished as far as making it a badass daily rider!

I just bought a new 2024 CVO, your video leaves out the VERY important Part. You should be factual in the out the door price, and added $2,000+ sneaky freight and set up fee. Every dealer pulls this, and they did with you. Not being hard on you. But don’t mislead people like it’s so grand. And why not share the price of the bike. What is there to hide? You’re telling the public you bought a new bike. Don’t you think the price is important. No dealer has prices online or in the store? The Harley Davidson web site does not display the price! Again no hard on you bro.

The price is common knowledge and their posted on the Harley website. Freight and Prep are also add on’s this is something everyone knows ………. Some dearlerships mate take them off some might not depends on the deal.

And they also want you to give them out of the goodness of your heart to give them a 1000 bucks to buy that Harley no thank you keep that Harley I guess they call it processing fee or something keep that woke Harley

Take your new bike to Moonshine HD and get a 147 CI build for it.

Grats once again!!! I feel another bike coming as well because that dealer has a unique used road glide for sale *cough*
