Never been a GS fan. I don't know who got more uncomfortable on a 30km ride, me or the wife. I've never liked the boxer motor, the way it makes it's power. Then of course the worst is the GS riders..............

Been riding since school. Many different bikes. Still currently riding - now 60 years old. I don’t diss any bikes - personal choice after all. The important thing is to ride!!! To diss the best selling bike in the world and make snide remarks about the people who ride them and make rash generalizations just shows who you are. Enough said!! Get on your bike and ride - hopefully it will clear your head

GS riders?... what a stupid comment. I have had 5 GS's (1200/1250), I had a ktm 1290 Super Adventure and my last bike was a Ducati Multistrada V4s. I have also tried all the other bikes, such as the Triumph Tiger and the HD Pan America. All good bikes, but in terms of all day touring comfort and versatility, the GS wins. And oh, my girlfriend agrees. What other bike has a more touring - friendly power delivery with such a low down torque, and with minimal vibrations? What adventure bike do you and your wife like the most? It has been the worlds best selling bike for years, despite being among the most expensive. That's not just by accident.
