That third 'Betelgeuse' sounds exactly like the second time she says it. I'm thinking they added the third one just for the trailer. My theory is Lydia summons Betelgeuse to help her find her daughter in the other side... in exchange for actually marrying him this time. And his ex wife Monica Bellucci is looking for him to get her ring finger back 😅

Them models and claymation of the original is what makes the original so nostalgic in my eyes.

I remember when seeing Tim Burtons name was cause for excitement. I mean. This film looks promising. But considering that Burton has been slumming it at Disney for so long now... And the fact that it's a sequel to a 30-40 year old film built around memberberries.... I am a bit hesitant to go full on hype.

30-40? Can you not do simple math? It came out in 1988, it's a 36 year old movie. I still don't see what that has to do with it being good or not. Top Gun Maverick was a sequel to a 36 year old movie and it was one of the best movies of 2022.

WOW. Alfredo Gough and Miles Miller have been working with Warner Bros for decades now. As long as Tim is head of this directing I know it'll feel right. Looks like the year I'll be spending money at the theaters. Lots of goodies coming out.

I grew up watching the cartoon and i loved the movie. Even though the movie came out first, i loved that the cartoon made lydia and bettlejuice were a team. I hope the movie makes it a little like that.

I love that they’re the main characters but I’d also love a mini Alec Baldwin & Geena Davis cameo for an extra sprinkle of nostalgia
