I miss these days and some of my teachers, to whom I really regret not having said that I liked their personality and/or the way they were teaching us. It should be in the school's official programs (beginning as early as in elementary school for many subjects) how to thank people as soon as we can, with a lot of practice exercices repeated each year, and other stuff that can help us understand more how to interact with others and how to understand other people's feelings, in order to make a society with less misunderstandings (often cause of useless conflicts) and where we get along much better. Like why you shouldn't judge someone or a situation with too few elements, or how an information is quickly being distorted by word of mouth (just do an experiment with pupils, who have to report a story to the next pupil. 4 or 5 steps and you've got already a different story), or how much difference there is between seeing a job from outside and doing it, or that we are more efficient by working together than only by ourselves, or taht there are moments where you can tell somebody something important and other moments where he won't be receptive, or the common mind traps like confirmation bias etc... All of this can be explained with simple words and practice (even entertaining exercices). Then we may begin to call us an "evolved civilization" 🏛

while very much not same type of school as in the video, in Germany on some schools that's actually not that unusual for those who don't know, the German school system is divided into three parallel lanes with each giving different kinds of degrees but one can later on go back to school to get a higher one which is often done multiple years after work (so yes, some people do it with 40, I have even once seen one doing it with 50) this can lead to situations where a student is literally older than nearly every teacher at a school

Just letting everyone know: The reason that one cats belly was swaying as it went down the stairs was because of its primordial pouch. It's a protective bag of fat that's there to help protect the cats most vulnerable spots in case it gets into a fight (mainly with other cats) most cats have one and it's perfectly healthy :)

pro tip for Australia, just treat the animals with respect & they never hurt you :) Yes sure, they can, but they only hurt people who try to hurt them first. In Australia we all tend to just talk to the animals like they're our mates & they just respond in kind & don't make any attempt to hurt us. It's only tourists that freak out & in turn freak the animals out that end up dead. Animals in Australia commonly come up to humans to say hi, especially ones like the parrots in urban areas, or any others that have learnt humans are commonly a source of food (wasn't what was happening here, lizard was on heat & chasing the other male out of his territory/showing he's the boss & can climb all over the human, so lizard wins & is happy now)

Cool anyway here's a brownie recipe INGREDIENTS 1/2 cup unsalted butter, melted and HOT 1 tablespoon cooking oil, (olive oil or coconut oil are fine) 1 1/8 cup superfine sugar, (caster sugar or white granulated sugar)* 2 large eggs 2 teaspoons pure vanilla extract 1/2 cup all purpose (or plain) flour 1/2 cup unsweetened cocoa powder 1/4 teaspoon salt INSTRUCTIONS Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C). Lightly grease an 8-inch square baking pan with cooking oil spray. Line with parchment paper (or baking paper); set aside. Combine hot melted butter, oil and sugar together in a medium-sized bowl. Whisk well for about a minute. Add the eggs and vanilla; beat until lighter in colour (another minute). Sift in flour, cocoa powder and salt. Gently fold the dry ingredients into the wet ingredients until JUST combined (do NOT over beat as doing so well affect the texture of your brownies). Pour batter into prepared pan, smoothing the top out evenly. (OPTIONAL: Top with chocolate chunks or chocolate chips.) Bake for 20-25 minutes, or until the centre of the brownies in the pan no longer jiggles and is just set to the touch (the brownies will keep baking in the hot pan out of the oven). If testing with a toothpick, the toothpick should come out dirty for fudge-textured brownies.

Frill necks aren't the brightest of lizards. You see, they will climb tress to escape predators if the frill doesn't work. So when the little guy got spooked, he did his usual intimidation tactic. When the man didn't run, or do much of anything really, his little brain got confused and went 'tall thing, climb it'. Then the man moved, the frill neck realised what he'd done, panicked, and ran for the nearest tree.
