Beef Stew is always a great dish to cook in bulk.

I inherited my mom's recipe for beef stew. It's identical to this except for the addition of parsnips to the list of veggies. A delicious comfort food that fills you up on cold days! Thank you for sharing!

I have only one criticism, you need a bigger, deeper bowl so you can enjoy more of it my friend, this looks delicious 🙂

Made this yesterday, and it was Brill . I didn’t have red wine so used rice wine vinegar instead. Meat was tender and flavourful.

I like to add tomato paste in to the beef stew. It gives a nice color and good taste.

This was delicious. I like to add corn, peas and green beans to make it even heartier. I also whisk in a little bit of extra flour to make it thicker. Nothing gets me ready for bed on a cold/rainy night than a big bowl of homemade beef stew.

You can definitely add any vegetables you like. I like to have good stew during cold or rainy days as well.

I'm going to try this as I miss the beef stew that my mum used to make but I might leave out the tomato paste/purée. Sometimes, she would add a tiny bit of red chilli or red bell pepper to the dish. I too like adding finely chopped fresh parsley when serving.

It's cooking now and smells amazing!! I substituted 1 tbsp of sadaf mild red pepper paste for the tomato paste since that's what I have in the pantry :) I add potatoes soon and then only 1 hr 30 mins until dinner :)

Great video. Used this as a reference and it turned out great... made a few changes on the fly though. Instead of sugar I used honey and added Cajun spices along with some other things. It turned out great! It did end with more grease at the top than I was expecting though. Maybe I used too much olive oil or my meat wasn't as lean? 🤔 Overall happy with the end result
