The Brothers Gibb ...... Professionally known as 'The Bee Gees.' (1) Maurice (short hair , balding, plays the instrument, on the left) While on his way to surgery for his intestines, he had a heart attack, yet the doctors operated anyway. (I heard Barry say this on a video.) He was in the hospital for only 2 days! Maurice (pronounced Morris) passed in 2003, at the age of 53. I feel he should had been the lead on at least one song on every album. (2) Robin, (long hair - cap) passed in 2012, at the age of 62 from cancer. He and Maurice were fraternal twins. Robin and Maurice were the comedians, but when needed, they were serious about their career/business, as was Barry. (3) Andy, the youngest brother, had his own successful career. He passed in 1988, at the age of 30, from inflammation of the muscles around his heart. He and Barry could had passed as twins, even though he was 12 yrs younger than Barry. The 3 brothers were also married and had children. (4) Barry (in the middle) said, "I am the last man standing." Barry is the eldest of the brothers. On September 1, 2021, he and his wife, Linda will celebrate their 51st wedding anniversary, which is also Barry's 75th birthday. They have 5 adult children, and 7 grandchildren. The Bee Gees have sold over 220 million records worldwide (probably more by now.) They were also writers for other musical artists. Barry just completed a new project called 'Greenfields: The Gibb Brothers' Songbook.' It is very nice! On a side note, their sister, Lesley is the first born. She was 76, January, 2021. Every reaction vid to this song is the same. Everyone smiles at 4:25 when Robin starts singing & then the key change and into an unexpected chorus. Genius in every aspect.

Robin's interjections are my favorite parts too. I agree with your point about passion. Another group in a similar vein I think is Tears for Fears.

The record company did not put his picture on the album cover because they wanted to play it in the black radio listening area, to see if it would sell. Excellent move! Everybody thought he was black. Well ... I say well, again, when he came out to sing, you could hear a pin drop! The record sold like 'hot cakes!' HUGE success!! Find the video where as the song starts, he arises from a bench, and slowly appears out of a shadow. He is 5 years younger than Barry Gibb.
