Now that is the worst thing that people in the mosque could do to anyone who wants to convert and get better. This interview is worth listening to and changing their behaviors towards new converts. Adjusting to new ways and behavior takes time. New converts need time to adjust. One should never judge others simply because of their appearance of general behavior.

Absolutely disgusting behaviour, we should never judge anyone by their looks, it's the intentions of the heart. I am so sorry this has happened to this brother. who ever did this needs to be educated about Islam and the mosques. we shouldnt be driving people away. The mosque doors are open for anyone who wants to enter into Islam. I hope this brother is welcomed and helped in his time of need.

The prophet pbuh never used harsh words even to the disbelievers. Allah swt in Aal Imran 159 says, "It is part of the Mercy of Allah that you (Muhammad) deal gently with them. If you were severe or harsh-hearted, they would have broken away from you (lturned away): so pass over (Their faults), and ask for (Allah's) forgiveness for them" If only we knew how much our words and actions can affect others here and in the afterlife, we would hold our tongues more often and soften our actions. Love for one another is how we all win.

The best is to cover your body to hide the tattoos. Here in South Africa Cape Town lots of rehabilitated gangsters with tattoos cover the bodies to hide tattoos. However nobody has the right to chase a Muslim out of a Masjid. Many people on Hajj have expose tattoos while wearing Ihraam. Also one of the greatest sins is to loose hope in Allah Almighty. Don't loose hope

I can so relate Brother. Allah knows best. Insha Allah your path will be made clear. I kept away from Masjid for about 14 years because I lost hope in the people also... Many, many many instances. Many high standing members of the Masjid included... I started attending a different Masjid again a couple years ago, Alhamdulillah. I adjusted and mostly keep to myself. I don't think that's its ideal, nor do I like the feeling as its not how we are supposed to be with each other. I still get a lot of negative energy because of people's perspectives about my Tattoos. But I have realized that its not just other Muslims, it's people in general. It's how humanity has become now. Quran speak of these times. This helped me change my perspective. All difficulty and hardship is part of the process. If it brings us closer to Allah then it was a worthy sacrifice. May Allah grant us all ease... Ameen. Allahuakbar...

I think the correct way of telling him was that we should See the Quran and hadith in the light of each other we cannot separate the two, we should not draw faces on our body and painful process for insignificant things is generally not allowed if the purpose is not for wellbeing, if there is anything on your body you should cover that part of the body because otherwise your prayers will not be accepted, and in this case people did a mistake probably due to not remember or not knowing, they should have told him these things.

He Looks like a very genuine and intelligent Brother, May Allah all mighty Praise him. Only Allah would know who is just or unjust in this world. Unfortunately we have some discriminative Muslim people amongst us who are not forgiving and not open minded and certainly doesn't have the know how or educated enough to address issues outside of their own society. Discrimination is not part of Islam, and should never be. We should approach and help others with kindness and forgiveness not abandon people who need help. we have no place for that in our society. If you attend a Church one day in your own outfit, I am 100% absolutely sure they Wil embrace you to their worship service no matter your religion, or ethnic background, and I have seen that with my own eyes. The own faith has an embracing of all cultures, We have to set a good example towards others and our selves. Tattoo or not Tattoo that is not the Question, that is their own personal choice, Allah looks at your heart and what you give back to him. I would like to meet those people who kicked him out of the mosque and to talk some common sense and intelligence into them, that this is not on in society in Islam and should never be the judge of that because you are also a servant of God, and only God is judging and forgiving.

Just because u believe in Allah and His Might, u might just believe He is the Most Merciful. A tattoo, addiction, treatment from the community, and lost of the love of your life can't stop Him from forgiving you. Because He is All Merciful, and the investments alone do not decide your fate. Come to other communities, build your own, have confidence Allah is with you on your side to help you. May we all meet in jannah.

I don't think that someone from the mosque kick him out. If yes, That's a test from Allah. How strong is his faith in Allah swt and Islam? Don't just because people's act make you judge Islam. Hasbunallah Wanikmal Wakiil

it's a shame that some muslims are not able to see beyond the outer appearance of a person.

The way he has lost hope after losing his wife or girlfriend I have felt the same recently regarding Palestine and the suffering and death of so many innocent children. I am a father of three young daughters, what’s happening has deeply hurt my heart and lost my hope and faith. Praying feels pointless to me now, I know that those in Palestine prayed before this genocide and currently while it’s happening, but still their prayers are not heard, they continue to die, babies and young children. In all of this I think, if Allah is not listening and taking action towards their prayers, why should Allah care about mine? Is this all really being done to them to test them and to potentially test people like me? There is no justification for their suffering for test or no test i cannot accept this idea of it being a test! I am sorry for what I’ve written here and I hope it doesn’t offend anyone reading this but I’m so angry and frustrated.

I understand your point. We all have such thoughts, but dont lose hope in Allah. All palestinian men, women, and children who were killed by Israel are all martyrs and are at a better place. Allah has promised paradise for all shuhadas. That was their destiny, and I am sure they are all happy there. Rest all, Allah knows the best.

Also, brother, we as muslims aren't doing enough to end the sufferings of our brothers and sisters in Palestine. We were supposed to protect them but failed miserably. We are divided and scared of the enemy. At least now, by looking at the sufferings of our people, we should be united. Hopefully, this will happen soon. May Allah make it easy for all innocents who are suffering across the globe . Ameen.

May Allah swt guide him and some bad experiences like this can drive people away from Islam. Kicked out. What kind of person would do that. Mosques are the house of Allah and it belongs to Allah.

Firs of all If You had those Tattoos before You became Muslim Nobody kicks you out in the Mosque, I dont know Your story but i guarantee You that, because i have seen many reverts who had tattoos! But You cant draw a tattoo on Your body while You are a muslim. Second of all! If You recited the Quran 29 times as you said, You should know that The Quran stated multiple times "Every Soul Will Taste Death" You cant say i lost hope just because my fiance died.
