I ate chicken in Cuba Havana 🇨🇺 in 2003 .. it definitely had anorexia or an illness , the skin was led on it like a blanket and when I peeled it back it was just a pile of bones 😂

They are lying to you. Cubans don't eat a lot of stuff. You will not see Cuban eating Guinea pigs like in Ecuador or crickets like in Mexico. Our diet is basically pork, chicken with a sporadic beef and rabbits. We don't eat dogs or cats like in SE Asia. We don't eat snails like France.

My friend from Chile was so perplexed by white and dark meat up here in Canada. Down where he's from, the chicken run free vs chicken standing in a crowded environment (blood pools in the legs =dark meat). When I went to DR, I also noticed the chicken looking and tasting differently.

In our country we have the basic 2 kinds. The commercial and native. Commercial are the ones grown just barely a month and already 2kgs or more tastes like cotton when overcooked meat so soft and bland Native grown for months even years. Very flavorful but has a chew . Tasty even when overcooked. Is grown free range in the mountains. Almost wild
