Same! I think influencers use product very generously since most of its given to them and they’re not paying for it like the average consumer. Which makes sense to me. Plus I don’t think they actually use ALL of it. It would be impossible with the mounds of product they have.

Definitely. I have overstock on body products, and well… everything really. 🤦‍♀️ A couple years ago I started using body stuff very generously, and I have yet to make a dent in my stash. I use skincare generously too, but it still pokes up, and I don’t feel like I buy that frequently. With free gifts with purchase, sometimes it just adds up. I can’t imagine how much product popular influencers get. And yes, I don’t think they are truly 100% empty either.

I'm wondering if you can use too much bond repair? How many bond products are too much once your hair has reached health again? I use all that you use in rotation : Espres, K18, Redken acidic bonding, Dove Bond Strength, Loreal Ever Pure bond repair, Pureology Strength, Amika Kure...etc... I use them all except the Living Proof. I don't use K18 every time anymore but still, my question remains, can you overdo the bond repair products? And if so, what are the signs of overusing bond repair products? Thank you, truly. I have learned so much from your wealth of knowledge. My hair is soft, healthy and long. :)

Talking about anxiety. I suggest you to buy a good quality punching bag. People underestimate the benefits of punching (using violence) but we need to let it out physically sometimes which we logically can't do in a civilized society. However, punching is extremely therapeutic and calming so it does help people who suffers from constant anxiety. Even psychologists are recommending it well at least mine that I had when I was a teen (31 now). My mom bought me one back then and installed in my room. It ended up she was also sometimes using it 😉

I got to take a real kickboxing class when my son was a baby, we used bags for punching & kicking, learned proper moves, etc - it prob saved my mental health! Six months in, we got a new teacher & it became jazzercize with “air” punches and kicks thrown in. I haven’t found another “real” class, and the circuit boxing gym is not for me, but the baby is starting as a teacher in August and I’ve kept the gloves because that was such an incredible experience. Great exercise for the body but also for the mind! Wonderful way to release emotion & feel like a badass. ❤

Obviously not Abbey, but each Epres bottle (mixed with water in their newer spray bottle) lasts me for 2 washes - my hair is fine textured, but I have a lot of it and it falls between my shoulder blades in length. This amount of Epres “soaks” my hair, but doesn’t leave it dripping, which is what the directions say (I think that’s right?). Would love to know if I could use less, just always anxious I haven’t used enough!! 😊

@@brittanyfletcher434 my hair is just a little shorter than abbeys and I get two proper uses out of the bottle and one semi proper. I don't saturate it fully but I am more concentrated on using it on my ends and lengths and I started adding the ogx oil after 10 - 20 minutes and that has been an absolute game changer! I once tried the whole bottle on my hair (since I had no idea in how to use it properly) but I am getting as close as the same results using only a third of the bottle :)

Do you not think Apostrophe is enough to use on its own without having to splurge out on expensive skincare products? Like when you want to prevent anti aging in years to come. Would then using products for your skin type be enough to prevent all those from hap?

Bakuchiol is a great retinol alternative for women who are pregnant as retinol causes birth defects or for people who cannot tolerate retinol. There’s actually quite a bit research from what I’ve seen showing it’s quite effects as retinol.

Abbey, thank uuuuuu❤ I will paste a comment i already did to other channel short video appeared suddenly about shmpoo bars😒, this comment i wrote today because of u❤, u made me realize and discover the stupid lie that most of earth started to believe, until our hair got damaged : this is my comment 👇🏻 "B4 i was believing in bars and chemicals free shampoos, now i realised that the old shampoos are the healthy ones for hair for several reasons : 1. "healthy shampoos" cost campanies lots of millions than normal shampoo, to make researches, and this may involve animals cruelty 2. This may need additional ingredients consumptions 3. Many companies will appear to satisfy people, so many plastics and other materials to make containers 4.Not all ingredients may suit all people's scalp and hair, so more products must appear 5. We can see majority are suffering from breakafe and dandruff and frizz hair as we don't use sulfate and silicon, which they are not as we imagined they are harmful Simply majority fell under such scamic information just to let other fool companies to appear to we buy more and more, it's not for earth and animals sake Im done i knew the truth and enough messing with that game and my money and my hair" Thank u dear Abbey, ur videos helped me 💋💋💋💋💋

Hi! Hope you don’t mind me commenting, but I work in health care and also happen to take the highest dose of Effexor for MDD. Only wanted to mention that if you do come off it, taper slowly down on it with a provider, but I would ask why you want to? I understand when people want to come off antidepressant meds for situational depression or if they’ve only ever had 1 depressive episode, but for example, in my case, I have MDD, which is a chronic neurotransmitter dysregulation disorder, and I’ll basically always need to be on meds 😊 I also would always promote antidepressants over anyone relying on something like benzodiazepines. You know what’s best for you, I just worry that many people think being on meds is inherently “bad”, when sometimes, you just need them! Mental health disorders are really no different than, say, cardiovascular disorders, there’s just unfortunately still a lot of public stigma 😊

@@brittanyfletcher434 Thank you for commenting. I totally understand that there is a stigma and there shouldn't be. I also agree with everything that you said 👍 I just honestly don't know if I actually need to be on it or not. For me, it was basically one situation (15 yrs ago) I thought if I didn't tell myself to take a breath than I wouldn't and I would die. This lasted for days. I couldn't sleep because of the fear of not breathing. The ER Dr. diagnosed a panic attack and was put on Effexor . I have had 3 bouts of depression. 1 episode before Effexor and 2 bouts after. I do have a new provider that said if I want to try to come off she would work with me.. Who knows maybe I really do need them.

@@dawnroy8551 I'm not proud of it at all lol. It was an unfortunate circumstance that I had to go through would not recommend. It does I think give me a lot more empathy for people who are dealing with substance addiction. It isn't just that not being able to take that substance and have the perceived benefit from it that's hard. It's that getting off a lot of substances literally feels like you might die and everything in your body is desperately asking for you to keep taking that substance even if mentally you know the best thing for you is to no longer take that substance.

@@brittanyfletcher434 totally agree with you that there's this ridiculous stigma that being on meds is bad and not being on meds is always good and when in doubt it's always better to not be on meds. I'm bipolar ii and I've just accepted that pretty much the rest of my life I'm going to need to be on some medication for it if not multiple. I do think though there are some legitimate reasons you might not want to be on a medication perpetually that aren't based in fear mongering. Inevitably when you're taking a medication anytime a problem arises there's going to be the question of whether that might be a side effect from that med. Or if you need a medication for some other problem there's this whole assessment that has to occur to see how it's going to interact with what you're already taking. Or if you're taking something with a particularly short half-life like Effexor It just kind of sucks to have to be so vigilant about making sure you're taking it every single day or your day is going to be a disaster. So I don't disagree that there's this sort of widely accepted myth that meds are "bad" and not being on it is "good" But I also think there are legitimate inconveniences that come with being on a medication long-term that I wouldn't necessarily fault someone for seeing if they can get off of it if they feel like their symptoms are managed and maybe they've done the work with CBT to feel like they have a better grip on their symptoms even without meds.
