This generation is so lucky that they are growing up in a time that skincare is trendy AND having full brows is in style! Please tell me there are some Gen Xers here who feel my pain and jealousy over this but only this! I’m very happy to have grown up in a time without social media, cell phones, etc etc!!

Been using the Dove bonding shampoo & conditioner for a few weeks now, and am in love. They work so well I don’t need to use a detangler afterwards. I was previously using the L’Oréal bonding line, but haven’t touched it since buying the Dove.

I popped into Dollar Tree today and their hair accessories are shockingly good. Lots of unique and pretty/chic Scünci clips, barrettes, satin scrunchies and even headbands. I had to limit myself to 12 items since I already own 500 others. But there were a few types I hadn’t seen before and I already love them. Such a pleasant surprise!

I just started using Heroine Make Speedy Mascara Remover. I use waterproof mascara, usually Clio Kill Lash, daily, as my lashes grow straight and do not hold a curl. I’m a believer in Head & Shoulders!! Not for myself but when my babies were infants and had “cradle cap” (a scaly scalp condition super common in infants) I tried everything! Nothing worked…until… H&S! Now, do NOT get near the baby’s eyes - it will sting, but after even one application in the tubby, it’ll be dramatically better and after a couple times, it’ll resolve completely.

I can’t tell you how much my hair thanks you for this video! I have hip length blonde hair that is half natural and towards my ends is lightened blonde that I am trying to grow out. It’s been years since I’ve colored it so I don’t have a lot of new damage and using Olaplex shampoo and conditioner for an extended period of time has left my hair in a sad place. After trying multiple minis of salon brands and drugstore I tried the Dove Bond Repair. I don’t remember the last time my hair has felt this soft! With a dot of the OGX miracle coconut oil post shower my wavy long hair is shiny and soft and happy. Thank you for providing the helpful content. Also I love Prequel too I use every single product save for the sunscreen 😊

I love the Dove line! I used to use it all the time before my former stylists would scold me because “ it’s full of wax” . I currently went back ( I use the daily moisture with coconut oil line for my coarse, wavy hair) and my hair looks and feel so much healthier!!❤

Just tried out the Dove Bond Strength shampoo and conditioner and I had the same reaction as you. My hair was completely different after the first use! Abbey if you haven’t tried the Dove macadamia nut body scrub, I feel you would LOVE it. The scent is to die for and super warm and vanilla-y and your body feels so soft after. I only use 1-2x/week to avoid over exfoliating, but thought you might enjoy it!

I’ve tried lot of high end shampoos and conditioners. I’ve tried different Oribe lines, several Kerastase lines, Kevin Murphy, Olaplex, Morrocan Oil, Ouai and the list goes on. I’m OBSESSED with everything hair. Including hair tools by Shark and Dyson etc. If you’re reading this give these drugstore hair products a try. I bought all of Abbey’s drugstore shampoo and conditioner recommendations. The Dove Intensive Repair shampoo and conditioner are by hands down probably the best hair set I’ve ever tried ! I wish someone would’ve just told me to give drugstore a try and I would’ve saved thousands of dollars on hair products. My hair has looked the best when I was in high school it was so shiny and silky. I only used Pantene. Everyone would ask me what products I used in my hair! I’m glad I started using these again. Sorry for the long comment. If any of you guys are skeptical just give these hair products a try. Thank you Abbey for sharing your knowledge!! You’ve saved me from continuing to spend lots of money on those high end products.

I'd love to see a video on the cheaper drugstore brands. A Suave deep dive, vo5, store brands, etc. I'd be curious to know what you think is worth trying from the science perspective. I think vo5 has some great clarifying shampoo.

OMGoossh you were so right...I tried the Dove shampoo/ conditioner and mask tonight and my hair is insanely smooth silky and soft. I'm so impressed. I haven't used a drug store shampoo and conditioner in over 10 years ( I just don't think they work as good) but these are insanely good. I can't get over it. I shampoo'd, did the mask for 10 min, then the conditioner for 3-4 min. After that I used Color Wow's Dreamcoat and dried. My hair hasn't felt this good in decades

Most of your body creams have shea butter in them. I’ve had to totally stop any shea butter- even on my body! I’ll get cystic acne on my neck, chest, in the weirdest spots if my body lotion has that ingredient. You could just have a sensitivity to shea butter

Hi Abbey! Have you ever tried making cold brew coffee at home? I know it’s not a cozy warm drink (which is something I thought I would miss from a hot cup of coffee) But it is so good! Soooo much less acidic! I was starting to feel sick from coffee and switched to maté for a while. Which I also love! But just doesn’t always hit the same, you know? Cold brew! And if you mix Bones brand coffee with something cheaper from Costco… GOLD! That’s what I have found to be the best and I don’t think I’ll ever stray! ❤

Hi Abbey! Love your videos! I was curious if you knew that Agency goes higher than .1% for Tretinoin. I’m currently using Agency and at a .14%. I only realized this since I was shopping around at other places for something cheaper but they don’t go any higher than .1%. I’m asking because you are the reason I even started Tretinoin in the first place and know you have been using it for years. Wanted to get your opinion on that and if there might be a reason you are staying at .1%. I had wanted to switch to Apostrphe but I’m not sure what will happen to my skin if I go down in percentage.
