My mum and dad got married and after a few years dad got attacked by robbers on his way home from fetching medicine for my older sister. They left him almost dead but God saved him, he ended up being blind since then. But for 40 something years they lived happily married and everyone envied them how close and dear to each other they were. I thank God I had such parents since am now a parent

I had polio from the vaccination when I was a baby and I met a fire chief at work. That man did love me he died in 2019 but we would’ve been married 27 years this year. I couldn’t believe someone would love me like he did. What both of you said hit me in the heart because it’s so true. And he was woodturning artist also, that was his passion and he won awards. I thought my life would end but then i came to realize that not everybody gets what I had and what you have. It's wonderful isn't it? ♥️ both of you be blessed.

Beautiful! When Anni spoke of getting depressed from the world and the unkindness of it all, I felt compelled to write about what has helped me to get and keep my head above water. I too am deeply sensitive and find it hard not to absorb the pain that surrounds me. Often the pain seems to crawl up me and throw me to the ground (or so it seems). In the past I’ve struggled with depression that has sent me to my bed for days. But I’m a meditator and one day during a deep meditation the message came to me that ITS NOT MY JOB TO FIX EVERYTHING IN THE WORLD AND THE ONLY CONTROL I HAVE OVER ANYTHING IS HOW I CHOOSE TO LIVE IN KINDNESS AND HOW I TREAT PEOPLE. When I feel despair I remember this message and it helps. Needless to say I limit what I watch on tv, radio, etc and I try to limit the drama that others want to share with me. Sweet Anni, you’re a very blessed and beautiful woman.

I was going to stop the video and comment when she mentionef of being empathetic. Its a blessing and a curse in itself to feel everythung around you so deeply. I am glad i am not the only one. I used to question the people around ne for being shallow and why they dont feel certain things in the same way. But i guess i need to figure out my own self and how you mentioned in your comment about the answet you got while meditating. I think it will help me too. Thanks for noting this down. ❤

I love how they both have a chuckle laugh, so warm. He has a beautiful voice, it's a voice one could spend a lifetime with I can see why she loves him so and he her. I can really related to feeling disappointed in the world - of humans. It's very painful in the heart. It's why I love animals, I am lucky to have a horse, what a blessing and a good husband. I agree about the trauma, I used to be all into processing but it can literally haunt you and just keep repeating over and over. Now I say "don't feed the crocodiles" (thoughts). Had to get the tissues out watching the love and feeling the love.

Anni, I can so relate to your feelings and struggles with the world. I cannot understand why so many people seem to choose to make the world ugglier. That is why I choose to not watch the news on tv or my phone. I only now and then expose myself to it. It is hard being so sensitive that you feel the sadness of the world as well as the need to do something about it. While others seem to go through life without a care. I try to focus on my own life and the small world around me. And the present more then past or future. Love you both!

This is a lovely story. I know people like this. I feel my husband and I are somewhat like this for each other. I always say, "Don't lose those rose-colored glasses," and he has learned to stand up for himself because I've stood up for him when necessary (even saved his life by doing that with a doctor). This speaks so much to what we come here to this planet to do---to experience life and grow and evolve---not just for ourself but for all connected to our DNA. It is beautiful in that "LesMiserable" way. We should all look at each other through rose-colored glasses even as we see the truth of human ugliness born from wounds. I’ve always hated that saying people use “they complete me”, it really should be “they make me a better version of myself”, but so many people just don’t understand that. This couple really does bring out the best in each other, they make each other the happiest version of themselves.

The statement that processing trauma over and over makes it cling to you is so true for me! It's a paraphrase of what Anni said, but it struck a chord with me. We are not who we were in the past, and the past is gone. It's time to focus on the present because it's all we have. John said, "I've done and been things in the past that I didn't like and I'm not that anymore." He tells himself that he's here now, not there then. His words are so profound and beautiful! I love this video! I just found this channel this morning, and I'm looking forward to exploring more videos. By the way, the doggie is adorable! I would love to hear more about him or her. 😊

My grandparents have been together for about 40 years. My papa has been blind since the age of 2, was a severe alcoholic so was my grandma. They met each other in the midst of getting sober and found god together. It’s lovely getting to experience their love. They don’t even need to see each other, and it’s really taught me to be very open minded to anyone and everyone.
