Yeh she;s beefy, and soon a related plane will arrive, the Hawker Tempest, it will be a great day haha.

I've often wondered what the defiant would have been like if the turret had been removed and had forward firing guns fitted. It looks like the love child of a spit a hurricane.

Not very intelligent flying from the Defiant pilot. He has a turret aimed out the back and keeps turning away to block its line of fire. Further, don't try to dogfight a Fiat CR-42 in a Beaufighter. Those biplanes were exceptionally manoeuvrable and easily out-turned any Hurricane pilot in the Mediterranean Theatre who tried to dogfight them. The Hurricanes quickly learned to use their superior speed to dive from a height, attack and climb away for another pass.

Yeh that is the AI its pretty limited at this stage, but its gonna be improved apparently. A real life Defiant probably would of won that fight. lol.

I have been suitability searching for this type of aircrafts on carriers it's really decently suitability gets my favourite blood pressure for work worthy of usability living means....

oh yeh it dont have any. Definitely needed forward guns, such as 4 hispanos.

Too heavy. The Defiant was about 400kg heavier than the Hurricane MkI and was already struggling to reach 300 mph.

Have you tweaked your confit.ini file

i think its 2 less .303 in one wing so not too much effect on the big plane

Why didn't the Beaufighter have a rear Lewis gun for the observer

probably flew in packs and could use forward facing guns for drag n bag if required, but they flew out over the sea, out of most fighters range.

audio is out of sync just a tick....

they are not in this game

the defiant aircraft was a waste of a merlin engine no forward firing armement and the turret could not fire forward without shooting the prop off no sync with guns

Actually preformed well in the role it was intended for, only struggled against fighters

The fiat was Italian not German who were on the same side in WW2
