General advise: Do not manouver in a way, that makes you loose a lot of speed. It takes ages for the 262 to recover from this, and makes you an ridiculousy easy target. Rather engage and disangage, zip by the formations and then do a slow and wide turn. It makes the engagement longer, might cost a lot of fuel, but it's more rewarding, if you see that even P-51's can't do shit to actualy stop you from tearing those bombers apart.

Trying it out. See what happens. Probably will stick to boom and zoom in future though :)

For the record I don't really like the Me-262 whenever you start because if you start with your engines at 0% you need to slowly put your throttle up but if you mess it up your engine will overheat as fast as a thunder strike and catch on fire though I found a way to get through this, just start with your throttle at 100% so that it could be easier though great video

It must have been a big risk to try to remember not to advance the throttle very fast in the 262, the pilots all came from flying Bf109s and Fw190s - where it was preferable to jam the throttle forward as fast as possible, whereas doing so in the 262s caused the engine to flame out or even destruct. lol.

It would have worked out but in the last moment my triggers had a wardrobe malfunction otherwise I would have blasted that P51 and then the others.

Let us hope; I think that was how they were used by JG-7: half or all the rockets are fired at once resulting in a 'shotgun blast' of rocket warheads that could be launched from far greater ranges than the MK108 cannon-and perhaps even beyond the range of the .50 cals? Greater chance of hitting the bomber.
