Pretty sure Cygames made a perfume based on Beatrix I cant remember exactly, there are tons of merch

The "G" in GFVS:Rising stands for Gorilla. Only Gorrilas are allowed and the rest are just bananas meant to be squeezed.

Sol’s daughter inheriting the gorilla might.

Her command grab is probably the best command grab in the game for a non grappler character. Better than Vira, Percival, etc for being just 10F with no startup animation. You obviously don’t get much off it damage wise, but it’s still a throw mixup tool that they can’t tech that provides 2 additional benefits: lowers health (good if your just above 30%and you can’t die from using it) and turns on clock above 30% so you still got her optimal stuff at high health.

I love how she's just Sol Badguy Guilty Gear but an anime woman. Makes me want to pick the game back up and try to run it back with a buddy of mine.

The character is really fun for a scrub like me to use. It's also pretty neat to see all the different dlc characters have a lot of personality in their gameplay and are different from the rest of the cast. Should the leaks be true for the remaining 2 characters I think we'll have a nice rounded cast of dlc that all offer different playstyles and strengths, even if they aren't all top 10 or so. Thanks for the insightful and humorous content as always Jiyuna.

Imo Beatrix (and the other top tiers for that matter) is everything that I hope will be addressed in the future of GBVSR. Her variety of options is so nice and I hope that characters get more options to apply offense than just 66L. Personally I want to see universal overheads to make a return to help beat out throw/mash tech.

Also her AA has a deceptive hitbox to your benefit. It still connects where you think it wouldn’t connect and what is better is it forces the opponent to still fall in front of you even if it looked like they were clipped from behind your head

Im confident in saying she is the one character i have had the most fun using even knowing nothing. It's for that reason Im switching my main to her.

She’s a good choice for a character switch

Akuma and Beatrix released same week but ive been way more hyped for Beatrix if im being honest. I immediately fell in love with this character as soon as i saw the full trailer. Not even coming from a long hx of being involved in the GB fandom as i didnt get into it until Versus. Still casual then but really wanna take Rising seriously. Always a Katalina player, getting into Lancelot, but this character. Design, moves, lore that ive understood, aesthetics, haven't been this excited for a new character in idk how long to the point where i want to play day one.

Having a ton of fun with this character, hope she brings the game success.

I feel like I don't understand what's going on in those combos but dang she stomps

The game placed 4th in most competitor entrants in COMBO BREAKER and I thought that's very nice.

She is the female Sol Badguy but in Granblue.

No thoughts just monke, perfectly canon Beatrix gameplay it reflects her. If i start allowing myself to think for a second i lose, but never go full monke. Also had a lot of fights where the mirrors had the same braincells lol did the same moves etc. This is my people we both monke

I mean HS STBT has been plus since the dawn of time, it's pretty much staple for move. Yeah Strive changed it in a patch but if you boot up any version of any other GG game from the last 15+ years it's gonna be plus. And just look at the animation, it's literally the same but with Beatrix facing the camera at the end instead

@@ANIMEILLUMINATI 100% - it's just that Beatrix seems to lean strongly into the worst parts of GB. I am kind of hoping the big patch will be a weakening of the gorillas. Instead, she seems to be a doubling down.

At this point I might be the only one who is not having fun. As someone who isn’t playing her I’m losing every online game since she came out. There’s no way to outplay her. If you fight someone close to your level (low S in my case) she just destroys you. Everything she does is plus, if she touches you midscreen you are automatically in the corner, if she touches you in the corner (which will happen) you’re dead. GG.

Sure man. She’s unbeatable. All the people beating her are just lucky. It’s definitely not the fact that you don’t know the matchup since she’s new.

She's such a "and if you CLOSE YOUR EYES" Sol clone lol Its so funny because her buttons are such stubby ASS and then you get actually hit and DIE.

GBVSR characters tools are usually all about "this tool looks kinda cool.. but its been made to suck". For Beatrix, its like they forgot to make her tools suck. And I'm all for it.

funny but too technical for me, looking at the life bar during fights is too much for my ape brain, i will try her out but i also think that after i will turn to much reliable gorillas like Nier, zeta soriz or siegfried. They seem more appropriate with my limited brain power

so her only noteable weakness is a bad 2h.....yeah sol badgirl gonna body everyone

Seriously I just got into GBVS a couple weeks back (not new to FGs) and I'm so annoyed that since her introduction, my win rate tanked because she's just so busted and everybody is using her. It was such a nice, fun time playing the game before her arrival .
