    Love the video! I didn't realize they were so different besides the jugs and monos XD. Climbing has been an escape for me. As a student, it has been an outlet from the hustle and a way to get physical activity in between classes and assignments. The progression and the strength I feel after sending a project. Similar to other people here in the comments, climbing has its own little community and has connected me with so many people, especially helpful in these trying times. Keep up the good work! I am looking forward to the next video!

    Well there are a lot of things I love about climbing, its hard to pick a favorite... I love the friends you make along the way and the amazingly supportive community. I also think it gives you an amazing break from everything else going on in your life, especially bouldering/climbing outdoors. And i just looove trying hard and training on the hangboard:D (in our gym we have three beastmakers 200 mounted on top of each other and me and a friend have set ourselves the challenge of campusing to the top on the 45 degree slopers, ridiculous challenges like that are also one of the things i love about climbing)

    I wonder if every sport has something like this; it's such a focused exercise for the strengths a climber needs, without the distractions that could show up during an actual climb. When I'm practicing boxing, the most difficult part of any punch combination is keeping my arms up once I start to get tired, and I have to stop the boxing routine. On off days I have to do focused triceps exercises that don't look at all like boxing, but without building that strength I can't keep progressing in the sport. I could see how getting the 1000 could help someone new build strength they're lacking that will make them much more reliable climbers.

    I think its definitely hard for every sport, but there are definitely sport specific exercises that help for the specific movements that they entail. Having done kickboxing for like 6 years its simple and sometimes crude tools that get the most effectiveness like a tennis ball or some rope.

  • @NoahWizard

    @NoahWizard

    3 жыл бұрын

    @@BeorOng yeah simple and sometimes crude- that's what really stunned me about this product; not trying to dump on it, it's clearly well made and intentional, but there's no flash to it; it just gets the job done. sometimes there's something really satisfying about the no frills approach to just building the required strength. there's something humbling about it, like it says so clearly: there is no shortcut, just do the work.

It keeps me happy, healthy and sane...which means I can show up to my job at the hospital each day with plenty of energy and motivation for my patients! Big problems though: I keep wearing the fingerprints off my fingers which means I can’t open the finger-print-ID medication cabinets....and boy oh boy does hand sanitizer hurts in the cuts and scrapes I get from crack climbing!! Haha. Love Urban Climb, that’s my home away from home. But I’ve moved to the country for work this year and don’t have a place to Boulder/climb/train anymore!!! @livgj in Wangaratta : )

    Its funny how I always knew about rock climbing (did it when I was younger) but when bouldering started to become a thing I was already much older and never really knew about it. I did kickboxing for 6 years and I don't regret it, it was fun, but it was never really much of a social thing. Now I can go to other countries, go to a gym and make friends so easily just by climbing and I love it
