Lovely to hear bears being appreciated!

Thank you for allowing us to view these beautiful, formidable creatures in their natural habitat. It was also unnerving to realize that you had to make a further walk back to your vehicle after the bears meandered away from the cabin.

Amazing. So fascinating to see this behaviour. That funny walk with the legs sticking out and rubbing against the trees are all a display sizing each other up.. Neither backed down so showdown was the result. How lucky are we to have witnessed this

Aivan uskomaton tuuri, ja eka kojukerralla! 14 vuoteen tämä oli TOINEN tuon luokan välienselvittely Viiksimossa, eikä noita tuossa luokassa muillakaan vastaavilla paikoilla juuri koskaan nähdä. Olipa hyvä, että paikalle sattui kunnon kuvaajat ikuistamaan harvinaisen hetken. Vaikka se käsien tärinä parissa kohdassa näkyikin... Monella kameralla kuvaus oli tietysti kokonaisuudelle suureksi eduksi. 12 vuoden aikana ja yli 50 kojukerran aikana itselleni on osunut oman kojun eteen vain yksi vastaava tapaus, joka kesti pari minuuttia. Siis onnittelen!

Hieno katsoa näiin kauempaa karhujen toimintaa. Läheltä ja sattumalta ei. On toi luonto ihmeellinen ja karhun luonto varsinkin. Ei ollut kyllä mikään nakkikojutappelu kontioilla, turkit vaan pöllys toinen otti palan ”petäjäistä” suupieleen ja jatkui.

You can go to the settings and change the subtitle language to English. It probably offers you unfortunately the Finnish subs directly because there are 2 different languages 😊

Any one at your place ever get in a dangerous situation or hurt? Isn’t it risky putting food out? What if they are already there when the food is coming?

Don’t fancy getting caught in the middle of that scuffle! Btw, where was this filmed? In North America or Europe? Regardless, it’s great fooage.

@@-o_o_o_o_o_o_o_o- Jogi on pullukampi. Italo vielä hoikassa kunnossa, vaikka on kyllä isompi. Jogille tullut viime näkemän karvaton laikku takamukseen. Toissa kesänä Italo halkaisi Jogilta kirsun. Siitäkin on video jossain täällä somessa.

Kun luontokappaleita syötetään aktiivisesti, kuvataan kojuista ja kirsikkana kakun päällä- nimetään, niin ollaan jo aika kaukana oikeasta luonnosta.

So i am not an expert but i ask myself if this whole concept is really such a good idea. Because in germany we had in incident with wolves at an army area. The soldiers there were bored and started to feed the wolves so they came back every evening and lost their fear of humans. At the end they came into villages and they all had to be shot. I hope this will not be the case one day with these bears. I guess its not a problem in Finland because Finland is not nearly as densely populated as germany.

I think that are quite big european brown bears. In germoney we don't have bears, sad.

Eurasian brown bears are quite a bit smaller than the Russian Kamchatka brown bears as well as Kodiak grizzlies of Alaska. These 2 are so brutal I could only imagine what a showdown of 1000 pound plus males would be like.!

I was assuming he said, He only saw two bears in the "Wild" in Non Baited Area's! They bait these bears to habituate them to these cabins. I'd hate to live in a cabin in Finland knowing there's Huge Brown Bears looking for food around my cabin.

Karhulla on paras haju aisti maalla elävistä nisäkkäistä niin ei ihme ja huomaahan sen kun on pitkä ja paksu kuono :)

Who thought I would rely on camouflaged Finnish guys for my entertainment??

I do not believe this is a very good idea. Habituating Coastal Brown Bears is extremely poor judgment! I get it, I understand, people want to see the bears! But imagine, living in a cabin, within 50+ miles from this area!? Just imagine, You come outside & wham a huge Brown Bear starts eating you alive! No time to do anything! They're Habituated to search for food near cabins & they're damn smart even highly intelligent animals, with great memories! They will forever be a problem, a liability to the lives of local peoples! These bears are aggressive hungry & huge! Just imagine getting out of your car at this place & being mauled to death by one of these "Teddy" Bears! Same goes with Alligators here in Florida U.S. people feed them & they end up eating dogs, killing people & eating them as well. Because people Habituate them with food. Life in the wilds is extremely difficult & intelligent animals will always go for an easy meal, year after year, mothers will bring their cubs to these places, teaching them where easy meals are had! This is not a good idea, these bears will kill someone, sooner or later! Someone WILL DIE...

I thought the same at first, but that was not the case. Their hope was to film any animals. A bear, a wolverine, etc... but what they got was more than they could have imagined.
