@@OrysB-po1fy Yes. The fight took place in June 1976. "The Great Kabuki" was a wrestler named Antonio Inoki. He kicked the back of Ali's knees several times and I think they quit the fight, because he was bruised badly. It was a boring showfight.

This was a very mild fight. They really weren't fighting to cause injury at all they both avoiding biting it was just a fight to establish dominance in an area where food is abundant. I've seen some very nasty grizzly fights where one of them most definitely did not live for much longer after the fight was over.

The 2 are really the same species. Here in AK people call the coastal bears and bears across the Alaska Peninsula Brown bears, which is the species they belong to, and grizzly bears are usually referring to the interior bears that aren't so large, because they don't have the same rich salmon diet.

Technically, "grizzlies" is the colloquial name,@@Dr.Ian-Plect .. they're of the species, brown bears. Even the Kodiak brown bear is a brown bear. FWIW, There are 3 subspecies of American brown bears, not 2. The ABC bears of SE Alaska are the 3rd subspecies. Such things aren't terribly important, and nor are those lines quite so hard as some people suggest, imo. Cheers
