​@@K..C Both are from the same ancestor animal buddy 😂, they're not related in the same sense a donkey and a zebra are related but they're still closer to dogs than cats from an evolutionary standpoint despite being their own species. Same logic applies to hyenas, not cats themselves but are closer to cats than dogs

God, I love black bears. I live in the part of Canada where they can just show up on your front porch to have a snack. And *oh my god,* are they bigger than people who haven't seen them think. Because they're BIG, especially during the fall

I had one off the terrace of my gf's house (it was down maybe 8-10 feet bellow the deck), and I scared it going out to have a smoke. The thing was the size of three adult bears I swear. It was startled and started to growl at me, so I growled back. We had a growling match for about 2 minutes and my voice started to get raw, and finally it left. The local bears had a habit of ripping the door clean off their shed which had trash in buckets, and then they'd strewn the trash across the yard into the woods.

I love them too! They are more scared of us than we are of them. Here in California we find them lounging in people's pools, jacuzzis, hammocks, you name it. If they get yelled at, they run away as fast as their fat butts can go! They are only mean when they are cornered or defending their pups...😍
