Bead Crochet Tutorial Series, Video 6: Closing a Bracelet: Invisible Join
This is the last in a series of six demonstration videos showing how to make a bead crochet rope bracelet. It is a companion to the book Crafting Conundrums: Puzzles and Patterns for the Bead Crochet Artist, by Ellie Baker and Susan Goldstine, available in December 2014 from A K Peters/CRC Press. The book's website is www.crcpress.com/product/isbn/..., and its Facebook page is / craftingconundrums . Go to • Bead Crochet Tutorial ... for a playlist of the entire video series.
Our thanks to Andrew Paul Keiper and Justin Foreman from the St. Mary's College of Maryland Library Media Center, who helped produce this video series.
In this video, you will learn how to sew the ends of a bead crochet rope together to make a bracelet that appears completely seamless.

A gift that keeps on giving! Thanks so much for such clear instructions!
I’ve been so frustrated trying to bead crochet. I can never get past the first two rows. I appreciate the visual with pony beads. Excellent tutorials.
Thanks for this tutorial! I like the way you secure the invisible join with a loop. But I am certainly going to apply this technique!
thank you for the invisible join instructions! it just made perfect sense the way you showed and I got it first time around, much to my surprise, doing my happy dance right now! again, thank you so much!
What a great video! I have been making crochet bracelets for years: several years and have always had trouble with the invisible join. (It goes with being left handed😊) I have 5 bracelets ready to be joined (can you tell I’ve been avoiding joining them?) and I’m going to try your method to see if it works better for me.🧑🏻🦳 Thanks again, I know it’s going to help, Patty
A great series of videos, very clear, very helpful. Thank you so much.
Thank you for such a thorough review of how to do this!
Te felicito por tus videos ,uno de las mejores explicaciones que he visto y he visto muchos .gracias por tomarte el tiempo para mostrar lo que sabes !!!
Thank you so much for sharing your expertise ... I like the way you have used a large beaded bracelet to demonstrate
Oh my gosh....I just realized I can put videos on "full screen"!!! Vision problem SOLVED! NOW I'm enjoying! Thanks
Thank you so so so much
Hi, I am a little bit confused about the last stitch at the of the crochet bracelet. I noticed that you do a thread over and crochet a stitch with no bead a pull through to finish. Other videos I have watched go through the rope at the end and come through the bead before the last stitch to close the end . Is thee a reason why you prefer the way you finish the last stitch on the closing end like that. Thank you for your reply. Patricia
This is best series on bead crochet.. I fully understand it now ..thank you making these so clearly. Can I use Hama beads? They are cylindrical in shape but big to practice with.
This series was very helpful. I have been afraid to try the invisible join. Your instructions were very clear and I feel more confident now. Question, I have only done 6 rounds. Is there an advantage to doing 5 rounds, or how do you decide which is appropriate?
how many beads do u need to make an average size 6 bead pattern bracelet?
How long do you make the bracelet? For someone with a size 6 wrist for example? Thanks.
How do I order your book
can't see what you are doing. useless video instruction.
