Beaconsfield Town v Hanwell Town Highlights (02.04.2024)

Спорт

After beating Didcot during the weekend a short but very wet trip awaited the Geordies to Holloways Park and Beaconsfield Town.
Hanwell got off to the worst possible start. Four minutes in Issac Olorunfemi's clearance found it's way to former Geordie Tom McElroy who finished calmly. Sam Beasant had a busy evening with multiple saves in the first half keeping it at 1-0. Beaconsfield had the ball in the net in the second half through Zidan Akers, but it was ruled out for offside. The best chance of the evening for Hanwell fell to Matt Mackenzie who's powerful shot was denied by Ram's keeper Thomas Norcott.
Hanwell are back at home on Saturday against Gosport. Then a fairly clustered week with Harefield United in the Middlesex Charity Cup on Tuesday, the re-arranged game with Sholing on Thursday, and an away trip to Dorchester on Saturday.

Beaconsfield continued with their brilliant pass to feet attacking style, from the game with Hendon, but wasted so many chances to have scored 4. The keeper had to make one great save, plus be brave to smother another, so this game could've been lost. A brilliant team, who made that game with Hendon, a throwback to Newcastle under Keegan. Hendon had to play their best- upfront -for many years to claw back the score.
