Sounds like we have the same hair type. I think you'll love this. I've been surprised how well all the cones hold curl especially when using the high heat setting and a good hairspray!

Thank you for this review. How long do you leave it on when it’s on the highest level of heat?

At the highest heat setting, I only leave it on for about 5 seconds before releasing the curl. If I'm using the medium heat setting, which is what I normally do, I leave it on a little longer, maybe 7-10 seconds. Hope this helps. Thanks for watching!

Do you think the design would be better with a longer clip for thicker hair?

I think if it were maybe 1 inch longer, I wouldn't have the issue of hair falling out of the clip when I use slightly larger pieces. It's not a deal breaker though. I hear that others have issues with hair crimping when using the long clips...I've never had that issue even with regular curling irons, but I guess that's why they chose the shorter clip length 🤷‍♀️

How is the quality? As I'm looking at this one for my granddaughter. Thanks..

Hi! It's the best curling iron I've ever used. Easy to use, doesn't burn your hair. I curled my hair with it again today actually. This would make a great gift since you can get a variety of different curls with this one product! Try to get it on sale though since it is pricey. I got mine half off, and I see they're doing 56% off now. $109 for 3 tools is a really good value!
