For me, this album is so summery. I can't really explain it, but it feels like something I would listen to on a bright, sunny day outside. The first 2 albums feel more cozy, like blankets in the winter, for me :)

Love your reactions and can’t wait for Bloom. Bloom is such an iconic album. My favourites are probably 7, Once Twice Melody, and Depression Cherry but you’re in for one hell of a ride digging into their discography.

Ahh I love your reaction! This album is so pretty and genuine and at other times feels otherworldly. Take Care might be my favorite song ever i just think its so beautiful especially the outro :') So happy I found your channel!! Thank you so much for the kind words ❤️ :)) That’s a great choice, ‘Take Care’ is easily my favourite on this album. It’s got such a magical sound, and the outro definitely adds a lot to the magic. I agree that Devotion & Teen Dream are pretty close, and I look forward to bloom!

10 mile stereo is my favorite Beach House track and Teen Dream my favorite of their albums. Can't wait for you to discover Bloom though

I’ll always respect Beach House for not licensing the use of this song for a Volkswagen commercial. Solid artists 🔥

Been waiting🙏🏾🙏🏾 My personal ranking of BH albums 1. Take Care (Nostalgia, better with time) 2. Bloom (instant classic) 3. 7 (most experimental, fresh) 4. Depression Cherry (Got a couple of BH hits, KW Graduation for BH) 5. Once Twice Melody ( Behemoth, I’m still finding gems and it’s working it’s way up my ranks) Devotion and Self title are pure BH but the band steps up it’s game and solidifies their sound in later projects

Yeah Silver Soul is addicting lol, and Take Care as your Beach House introduction must’ve immediately drew you in! Also, ‘Home Again’ is by far my favourite BH song at the moment, especially the 2nd half of it :’) it’s like the theme song for Devotion imo

@@shyupercI think they meant magnum opus as in it was the album where people started to notice them. They became popular in the indie music scene but not so “mainstream” popular like some would consider them now. Back in 2010 this album was in every hipsters iPod and people who listened to mainstream music would look at you with concern cause you listened to “slow, depressing, church music.” 😂 Teen dream is not the best BH album now but it will always be in our hearts.
