I guess we'll really never get the pilot. Oh well. That 4th wall break where they call out the furries is hilarious. Also, I love the moment Loona almost called Blitzø "Dad." Like, his face, he was so happy. And, in case is wasn't clear, Verosika and her associates are succubi and incubi: demons that feed by draining human life energy through sex, so spring break would be the busiest time of the year for them.

I don't think Alicia will see this, but still Minor Spoiler Warning it's my running theory that the over-arching plot of the series is Blitz working through his hang ups (like how he's already made amens with Fizz). so if we do seem more of Verosika i'd like to see them delve into their relationship a bit more

Glad you got to meet verosika and yeah she comes off as the stereotypical petty ex who's out to get revenge on said ex but after hearing what blitz did to her, left her to pay for hotel room, stole her car, ran three rings to wrath, and maxed out her credit cards on a horse riding lessons. She has understandable reasons to be mad and petty

Which is funny when the hot and seemingly bishy girl was probably the more reasonable one and stable in the relationship with how far Blitz is willing to take his crazy pettiness over very minor things.

Cant wait for Alicia to watch the rest of the show. It's so good, and Alicia's reactions are top tier. Also, the show's relationship shit is cute and the character moments are so damn EXCELLENT

i think this is the first episode that actually confirms that loona is blitzo's daughter. sure, we knew from the pilot that she was adopted, but up until this point it was never really clear if that was adaption, as in adopting a child, or adoption, as in adopting a pet. given the status of hellhounds in this world, with them being treated more like pets/property than actually people (notice that even millie almost never referrs to loona by name, almost always only calling her "our (company's) hellhound" or "our boss's hellhound"), it could have gone either way. even blitzo's behavior could fit both an overprotective dad or an overly affectionate pet owner. but yeah, this is the first time we got an answer to their precise dynamic and i really like them as a father daughter duo.

Blitz definitly sees her as his daughter, but the actual legal status seems to be kind of both (but leaning closer to the pet side than the child side).

I got to meet Verosika's VA (Cristina Vee) a few weeks ago at a convention in Columbus and she's an incredibly nice person. She's done so many great roles over the years. You should try out the Shantae games during one of your streams/videos if you haven't already.

Well, the main difference between our main characters here and most of the other characters we've seen so far (including Hazbin Hotel) is they were actually born in hell and therefore aren't innately terrible, evil people. Off course the general environment of hell still pushes them more into the terrible person camp by default and being soft is still generally looked down upon, but the show does a great job showing that even in this environment some can still develop to be caring and compassionate or just generally having more going on than just being a literal hell spawn.

You were the only person I've seen react to this who had the concept of Kill Vs F**k fly RIGHT over their head and that was priceless 🤣🤣🤣

Fun Fact, Verosika is voiced by Cristina Vee, the voice of Ladybug, Darkness, Shantae (my personal favorite), Killua, Sailor Mars, and literally hundreds of others across video games, anime, and cartoons. I know they've had the voice of Invader Zim as Moxxie for a while, but still, these are massive pulls!

Verosica Mayday voiced by Cristina V, whom also voices Darkness From Konosuba, Sakura from Fate, and Ladybug from Miraculous Ladybug.

FYI Vortex's VA was The Genie in the original Broadway cast of "Aladdin".

As sad as it is that Vortex already has a girlfriend, it is nice to see Luna get her first friend lol 😂, it’s a nice trade off

I rode a grownass horse when I was 8 nice and slow; and then the Uyghur guy was like "Aight, amateur hour's over, lemme show you some real riding" and hopped on with me, taking the horse to full gallop. Fucking intense. Desteoyed my whole hip for a day. Good times.

I do hope you continue this one. While season 1 sticks more to episodic format, season 2 focuses on a bigger main story, but does build off events in season 1. And I’ll say their individual histories do get explored more. Who does, when, and how, well, that’s to be found out later.

Hope you get better, with this series we wait months between episodes so we can wait a bit for this. It sounded like you're gonna say they deserve to be in hell at one point but i'd just like to remind you that other than the woman client from episode 1 everyone in Helluva Boss so far was born in hell and well they have looser morals they don't deserve hell but many still earn their place there. Loona being Blitz's adopted daughter was mentioned in the pilot but not since, Blitz is a very overprotective father and Loona is not exactly the most emotionally connected but more like angst personified. As said she was 17 almost 18 when adopted so there's still some issues there since she's only in her 20s. It's sad as she probably resigned herself to not being loved and on her own on the street before Blitz swooped in and while she loves him she probably resents him a bit for taking the only thing she had from her. I find it funny most people's side with Blitz (me included) because he's the main character but if you listen closely to the reason they had a falling out you realize Veronika has a really good reason to be mad. Also Veracika and her crew are Succubus and are there doing their job by corrupting people to sin to go to hell, though I don't know why as hell is overpopulated with the cleanse and all. Yes drunk Moxxie is fun and the M&M couple are absolutely adorable together as the "cutest couple in hell", they also have a love song called "Oh Millie" that came fron the pilot but also has a separate music video. Yeah as soon as you started hyping up the Vortex ship I was waiting for the "girlfriend" part, the best tear on the soul lol. I've seen a few people argue this in chat but the creators have directly stated that hellhounds are below Imps in the hiarchy, Verosika calls Vortext her hellhound and even Millie just calls Loona "our only hellhound" in episode 1.

Hellhounds are basically like dogs here on Earth, they can be adopted and basically work as security or as pets depending on the owners. The second season shows more of dynamic between Blitz and Loona and I love their dad and daughter banter

Blitzø is obsessed with horses, like unhealthily obsessed. It is never explained why. At least it hasnt been explained yet

Art classes and pottery classes are expensive as the class usually provides all the materials and depending on how many people are in the class, how often people mess up, etc, etc, it gets expensive. Also depends on what materials they're buying, if they're actually over-charging or not and a variety of other things. If they buy material that's cheap 'great value' and they're charging an arm and a leg, best to find another class. If you're paying a lot, you should at minimum get what your money's worth.

Alicia gotta watch more of these episodes. The show is amazing and her reactions are super fun to watch. Shame she pays so much attention to chat, was hoping for her reaction to the high five... Oh well

Man, I WISH they could have done more office sitcom stuff with longer seasons. An inter office prank war in hell? HELL YEAH!

The "where's my baby?!" Line reminds me of Brandon Roger's episode of A day in the life of a mom, where he has a babydoll baby and he(as a mom) says "where's my baby?"

Glad to see you enjoying it. Next one is divisive. Some enjoy it, some hated it. Personally, I really liked it. You should listen to the full credits on these. Ep. 3's credits included an extended version of the song Blitz0 was listening to on the radio, and it's hilarious. S1E8 also has a great song for the credits that doesn't appear in the episode.

I didn't realize it until I watched this but when Loona was talking about her Make up, before saying shut up blitz, she stops herself from saying "Shut up, Dad"

So happy to see more of this series here ❤. And for everyone else asking about the pilot, please calm down. As it's not canon anymore, it’s not even on the series playlist on vivziepop's channel. Alicia will get all the relevant information anyway on the actual episodes. If she decides to watch it, that's great for us, but it’s not a big deal if she doesn’t.

I felt the pain over Tex with you, despite having seen that scene many times before. He's a real sweetheart tho :3 Really excited to see you react to the rest of the show, things start picking up really nicely around episode 6, though the next few episodes are also a lot of fun :D

Blitz has a major fascination with horses. You will see drawings he made or other things that have to do with horses around him.

This episode has the greatest 4th wall break

I would really suggest watching the Pilot. It sets up the characters, the setting, etc.

You are gonna have SOOOOO much fun with this series. Hang on for the roller coaster of emotions it’ll likely cause in you. Also listen to, and remember even random stuff from earlier episodes going forward, cause some things may foreshadow others. Also, if anyone asks you to react to the Helluva Boss music vid Just Look My Way, do NOT watch till you get caught up with the series, cause there may be material in there you’ll consider spoilers for season 2. Otherwise enjoy, and can’t wait to see your reactions.

The HPV thing reminds me of my last doctors visit. I don’t do needle stuff and I stay protected and have been tested since the last time I wasn’t. The sheer condensation in his voice when I said no to a test was upsetting I just told him I’m fully inactive. Mind you I’ve been seeing him for years and I loved having him as my doctor. (Was his last day as my doctor. He had a specialty in pain management rather than GP and got a job offer. I miss him. He was so kind and caring and I’m happy he got a better job )

I find Blitzø's obsession with horses endearing.

The music in each Helluva Boss episode is so good that it is criminal they haven't released an album for the 1st season.

I love this series - the end though... When Vortex told Loona "my girlfriend throws a ton of crazy hound parties" - back then we had to wait for 1 1/2 to 2 years for Episode 8 of season 1... You'll know why when you get there... It has to do something with the music of that episode.

Glad you’re feeling well enough to continue this (I’m really enjoying your reactions) and really hope you get to feeling better! Also, I cannot wait for the next Episode. It, Episode 7 and the most recent are my absolute favorites of the series.

Interesting little fact: The guy who does the voice of vortex also does the voice of another character coming up Ozmodious

For those unfamiliar, the reason Moxxie considered the idea of having sex with Michael Crawford is the fact Michael played Erik in the musical version of Phantom of the Opera. Mox is a HUUUGE fan of that musical
