Be unselfish... until it's a negative | Chelsey Gipson | Give and Go: Ep04

Спорт

Check out my Give & Go session with Chelsey. A talented player from LMU with a great rhythm with her shot. We worked on a number of aspects of her game, some of which we’ll be breaking down in future episodes so you can also learn from the lessons. Thank you Chelsey for being a great student and good luck!

These vids deserve so much more views people get caught up in the crossovers and 3 pointers and don't pay enough attention to the fundamentals and being a good passer and working on footwork to get easy buckets

And, people don't know about this channel. If we want Steve to keep giving us these gems, we have to put people onto this channel. Like you basically said, these videos are more important than exaggerated ankle breakers. But cheers from Jersey

Great knowledge. Thanks so much. Chelsea has a beautiful shot. It looks so natural and fluid. It didn't cost her much to pick up on Steve's lesson for balance. Best of luck and wish you all the success in the world Chelsea. Please give us more in depth content Steve. The knowledge you possess is so rich.

1:59 - OMG, I've been decoding that movement for like the last 4 years!!!! I think I've finally starting to figure it out, but thanks for bringing clarity Steve "Bring the weight over top" - makes sense! Movement is about transferring controlled weight in the direction you want to go!

I live in Phx. Used to watch you play back when I was 8-16 years old. Suns were my favorite team and you were my favorite player. Became a Laker fan when you changed teams but now I don't have a favorite team anymore since you retired. Sucks that you were under paid your entire career and couldn't get that ring either

I have a problem when I play I wanna pass to my teammates so I don't appear selfish. For example I'm on the three point line and I should shoot the 3 but I end up passing the ball. So If I shot almost every ball I get I'm probably gonna end up with 10+ points but I just don't wanna appear selfish and I pass a lot. This is my biggest flaw.

that's not unselfish that passive, unless your doing a play or there a perfect pass don't pass right away. being more aggressive with the ball will create more opportunities for better passes and scoring. this will not happen if they don't respect your scoring abilities. one more piece of advice since I went through this my self, play to your strengths. have a good one :)

I am playing a point guard position. struggling between shooting or passing the ball to teammate. it seems lack of confidence. how's you mindset about making the play for the team or attacking by yourself.
