agree....seeing him do this you understand why he was one of the best players in the world. On television when you see him sometimes you think how's he scoring on these guys so easily but when you see him do this drill it really shows you why he was able to do what he does. This is as good of a pull up as you will ever see in basketball stop perfectly on a dime and elevates so high. Notice how much higher he'd elevate compared to the other player which is very important for an elite mid range jumper.
it can't be overstated how precise Steve's footwork is, his base is the same every single time he shoots it. Simple but essential.
This is the most underrated basketball channel and the quality is amazing
Nash’s feet are so much smoother, probably from his soccer skills

no actually, being a soccer player for 14 years myself and trying to transition to basketball in later years,i realised that we as soccer players are much more stiffer in our footwork and in our movements, cause we have change of direction too but not in such close spaces, cause we have to cover so much more ground,so there is not much hard cuts,or sudden change of direction, the master at this is football players, cause they run as fast as soccer players but change direction so quick like basketball players trying to open themselves
Coach, Tony Parker has one of the best over hand crossovers and it was really effective for him for years, and you really do a great job explaining why it’s an effective move to have in your arsenal! Great job as always Coach!
This is priceless Coach! Thanks for sharing !! That’s what legends do! You guys are Alchemists On Fire ✨🙌🏿 Mad Respect

Steve Nash could low key still play in the nba if he wanted to. He's still got the exsplosiveness and the shot making

Idk if he has the stamina and endurance to run down the court that much and guard the other extremely fast guards. He also has to handle these much quicker n still strong defenders it prob would wear his body down most I see him as is a 2 year six man
Gonna be some nice after-practice competitions in Brooklyn next season
Nice workout Coach!!!
I like this coach 🙏🏀
How can he be that fast and smooth at this age broo i don't get it!! That's why he's one of the greatest point guards❤️

+ GREAT LESSON
good workout ...just curious to see how the pick and roll would constitute for players, ie two defenders, and two offensive players. with this amount of traffic and the defensive concept of hedging ..how practical will the over-hand crossover be? asking as a coaching opening to new ideas
Thanks
Is it possible for you to incorporate what the defense would do I’m tryna learn to play in the moment and adding a person to play d would help me visualize it during practice time
I don’t deserve this, this is too good!

Hi Coach Phil! Thanks again for your work and sharing us your knowledge on basketball. I just subscribed to your app just question, do you suggest to just do all the drills (for example the stationary ball handling drills) everyday? Or spread the drills throughout the week? Thanks Coach!

Appreciate your message. There is no wrong way with the drills. You can do the same drills for a few days a time or mix them up. The most important thing is get the details of the drills and improve. Workout builder coming soon to the app.

Wow
Brooklyn hope you Nash!
I am thinking to dodge the poles they way you asked for, but intention in mind was then to take the defender, But Steve to ha Second plan of sating his from Snitch, so his mind is in Faling off the defender other wise
Use me as a prospect. I’m ready
Phil is great but one thing I been seeing in his videos is that he does so few repetitions for each variation , like once or twice only then changes . does that really aid muscle memory ?or he just doing that for the videos
2x MVP
Indeed humble player.
even tho nash doesn't/didn't have crazy handles like kyrie, he had(still has) elite ball handling skills and was crafty, smooth and had excellent footwork. he was also very efficient when dribbling. they're at pepperdine! ...where's AJ and Mills?? other kid practicing with nash is building a brick house on the court!
