    @dreboltontupac You are a silly gooseberry if you do not think this applies to men... This wisdom is usually pertaining to men applying it to other men to reach a place of power. It most definitely applies to men. Kevin Samuels was intelligent, but if you take everything he says, without a grain of salt... I feel embarrassed for you! Be your own person, use your mind to think for yourself! idolizing another man is not going to get you very far.

    This happened when I honestly wasn't interested anymore. Not playing hard to get. Actually was. It's kind of sad, but there it is. Human nature at its weirdest. To me anyway.

  • @joelruiz6440

    @joelruiz6440

    It’s sad because when you don’t care and have feelings for them, they want to come back. Then, they get all sad when they recognize that you’re truly gone and no longer interested. They beg for another chance but it’s impossible because you have already lost feeling for them and that chapter of your life is already closed. Sucks that it took them losing you to see that you were a genuine and good hearted person.

    I just wander, if both parts will apply these rules... will they ever meet? The communication should be mutual, the caring also... Although i like this philosophy...

  • @7F0X7
    @7F0X77 ай бұрын

    The issue that I see crop over and over and over ad nauseum is that when people meet, then one asks the other to do something later just for fun or out of shared interest, the other will agree to do it at a particular time and then back out without ever offering a rain check. Or you give someone a call that you don't talk to every day and they say they can't talk, but they will call you right back, but then they don't. According to these teachings, the best thing to do is to simply not engage them again until they engage you. However, this flatly *DOES NOT WORK.* Literally everyone I meet does this to me regardless of how I communicate with them, and I don't go back to them, and that's the end of the friendship right then and there because *they don't care.* The only logical end is to be entirely alone and apparently I'm the only human being on Earth who values mutual respect from what I observe endlessly over and over. What's the point of any of this when you have to be alone anyway if you value your dignity?

    I understand your frustration. Sometimes, people can be disrespectful of our plans and communications. My tips are: be honest about your feelings, set clear boundaries, choose friendships with people who share your values, be patient with others, take care of your self-esteem, and don't give up on finding people who value you.

    I usually work with two strikes, then you're out. Initiate contact and show interest, if they respond, great. (All across male/female/platonic/romantic interest spectrum). If not, wait a while (you determine this), throw a little chum in the water. Again, if they respond positively and don't duck out a second time, I'd explore further. If not then (crickets).

    To be honest, this almost seems Machiavellian to me, sure you should be all of the 10 points raised but to do so in the pursuit of external validation seems contrary to Stoic Ideals. I don't think it should be about making someone prioritize you but rather you prioritizing yourself, then what the video says makes sense to me
