Really enjoy listening to Matthew. Would be great to see him more on the show if Chris isn’t whipping him too hard in the Blind studio! :D

This is so gooooood. This is a much needed topic. It probably won't get into a college lesson plan but it is vital for designers and creatives. I know that having a boss who's been in the field for a while can be super intimidating and tough! It can feel terrible but if they didn't need you they wouldn't have hired you. You can do it.

One of my fave streams so far :D I love seeing how Chris' teachings rubbed off on Matthew and how Matthew had applied it in his own way through the years. I can totally hear similar speech patterns between the two as well. I totally relate with how hard it is to articulate why something isn't working. I went through it for the first time when I tried to teach a friend watercolor. Had to take my time figuring out how to say things simply to a beginner. Shout out to the rest of the Dream Team as well! Pretty solid questions :D It totally helped the conversation along.

Guys... Awesome video. One might consider at first «oh no, there is no Chris in this video». There is. There are strong communication values and information that is passed on to us. I must say that I was happily pleased to see this video, now. I can also say that, from what I've seen so far from you TheFutur, that Matthew can address some stuff even «cleanliner» (if that is a word) than Chris, and I believe that it is a huge compliment for both of them. So, keep up the great work, of course, and we'll be here! Cheers from Portugal.

Mathew speaks in such a way that you can tell he really knows what he's talking about and has formal training from a top school and lots of experience as a CD.

Love Mathew! Great host. I'm still amazed at how he just uses common sense with the process and workflow and the youngster's are like that's genius. Makes me wonder what they are learning in school. Keep up the awesome programing!

Great Video! I was wondering if in the Pro Group it is explained how to write a discovery document and a creative brief with more details. I am thinking to join the Pro Group and I am moving from Motion Designer to a Creative Director.

Great video! I can relate to multiple sections... my managers hover and point, move this a couple pixels over, change that to a darker gray. Also almost every larger project that we do changes direction multiple times. Its definitely hard gearing up for the next large project. I try to rectify my process for each project but it never seems to work out. Do you guys have any advice on how to manage wireframes and annotations for web design?

So is Mathew demonstrating how to be a better CD or is the guest a CD who is looking for feedback? She sounds like a designer who lacked a briefing. How does the CD title fit into a normal team structure?
