All BDO players have one common denominator... Master Card

Once you hit Cron Stone stage, this game has a big P2W pull for progression. You get showered with Cron Stones for the first weeks , then you discover you need thousands of them, finally when your first month is over you will be drip fed a minimal amount here and there. But then suddenly comes the % coupons and sales on the pearl shop with "insane value" for your monney in Crone Stone boxes! Most people I met will spend money at that point and save themselves hours of grinding for more gambling chances, there is nothing wrong with this imo but I find this part of the game clearly P2W and not mentionned in most reviews.

that is usually around the 70-100 hour stage, most of my buddies get to that point and I see they start spending a good chunk of money XD

The pay to win is about 30$ us for about the same amount of gains as an hour of end game grinding So yea it is pay to win but your either stupid or extremely rich to be able to to do it at a level that will mean anything

These videos unironically have been really really really helpful to understand the thought process between gear progression and everyones luck. I had guidance from some friends and was kinda just blindly going for what I thought sitting at 289 AP and 328 DP. (No guides or anything and stupid luck to one tap a pen kzarka... opened a TET black disto from a shakatu box, then one tap the free blackstar to pen. I hadnt realized the evasion/dp differences cause everyone was telling me only to build non bhegs/urugon if PVPing etc. Big help! Lotsa gearing things I didnt even know existed like the cups, the alchemy stone being something other than a random consumeable that you can get with sheet stats, and logs lol. :D Big ty for these videos memes aside!

DR lahn is fine. She has evasion passives but a lot of ppl will build her dr and that’s ok especially if you tag a lot as most classes are dr. It’s not like a mystic who just loves evasion no matter what basically

no way 29 ap is worth 1.3 trillion silver. sorry im not grinding for 1k hours at minimum for 5 set debo, when theres no reason for me to get that much ap as a pve only andy.

@Jannerius ya I wouldn't even recommend geting a vell heart tbh it's like the last thing u need and it's near impossible to get off thr market place atm you can reach 301 with out it pretty easily and cuping ur rings and belt is also the last thing u should ever purchase a cup is almost 5b.... that's a waste of silver. They have cup events throughout the year just wait to get ur cups that way and push other more important gears. So you can grind ur debos sooner

​@@modernlegend_gamingwithout pen accessories (disregarding crescents) I can't find a cheaper way to hit 301 ap bracket than vell's+tet tungrad+c7 kutum (or tri godr ayed). I could technically buy a pen necklace/belt, but I kind of want to save that money towards tet debos.

Pen bs, both jen Cresents, 2 tet distos and an ators plus ur journals and ur at 305.. while still wearing pen capotia belt and neck... and he'll u don't even need 2 distos to reach 301 you can wear a pen capotia with a khan's heart with this setup and reach 301..also if you dont have pen blackstar yet you shouldn't even be worried about hitting 301 worry about ur weapon first

I knew already it was Wealthy Person's game but I decided to play anyways. What I am not enjoying at the moment is that ever since this Server Location Change, I am disconnected 7-10 times each and every single day. It is becoming unplayable. Forget AFK anything. With this event everyone is AFK fishing but I only get maybe 1 hour to max 2 hours before disconnecting. Training Dummies are just a waste of money as you know you won't get the 5hr-10hr AFK. Here is how we fix the Eastern USA Server issues, just make everyone in USA suffer. They could have, I don't know keep the West Coast open while opening this new Server Location. That would cost us some money so F the Players just give everyone Mediocre service.
