Weird coming across this. Its the day I was born. I was 2 hours 45 minutes old when this first broadcast... wayout.

traeyboy529 no they never, they closed anytime Into the night up to approximately 2am. It depended on the end of the programming, mainly the late night film.

Excuse that message, I made an error. I actually now realise it was JUST after 12am BBC1 closed down on 19/08/87

@@looneytunes9000 In Northern Ireland it could be David Gamble, Michael Nunan, Judith Rebeck, Roy Larmour or David Alver I may have spelt some names wrong. Very nosthalgic clip
