I would ask them first, what is their purpose in them being here. the answer you should get is 'to prevent a breach of the peace'. you could go and ask them if they will be enforcing the 'FAKE warrant? again the answer must be NO! reason being it isn't a police warrant! the police deal with criminal law and not civil law.

The law states that you need a tv licence if you watch or record tv as it is being showed on television, so why are these low lifes asking if people they have a tv when it is nothing to do with them or the law as long as they are not watching live tv or live broadcasts ? Why do they not think it is rude and invasive asking a complete stranger to enter there property when that stranger doesn't want to contract with them ? Because people will do anything for money that's why and there are far more respectable and honorable ways of making money, so if you are reading this and you happen to be a tv licencing goon get a proper job, grow some balls and do some good in the world for you're money !

All of these visits and altercations can be avoided so easily, just phone them up, tell them you do not watch 'live' television as it is being broadcast, tell them you are "removing their right of access" to your property. JOB DONE!

Sorry I disagree. You have no more right to tell someone that they can not own a gun, than the BBC telling you that you have to buy a TV license. Your logic is flawed. It all stems back to what I originally said, that you do not have a right to tell someone what they can do. If you think that people have a right to tell people what to do then pay for a TV license because the same logic applies.

The thing is with TV licence people you can have them come round countless times and prove you don't have a TV over and over and over. BUT they will not stop harassing and threatening you to get you to have a TV licence. You will still get letter after letter, visit after visit it will never end. Simple solution bin every letter you get. Once they turn up shut the door in their face. And that's the end of that they can't do anything else other than threaten you with letters and visits. :P

was recording on a smartphone probably... and although he may not own a TV set, he obviously owns a smartphone, laptop, PC, tablet etc and these also require a valid TV licence as they are all capable of streaming live TV :)
