Under the Equalities Act (2010) it is illegal to discriminate against anyone on the grounds of age, gender reassignment, marriage, pregnancy, race, religion, sex, sexual orientation and disability (except if the disabled person is less than 9 months old, when it is legal to kill them BECAUSE of their disability). And the High Court think this is ok!?!

How can a judge argue with her, she is so well informed and right. Their ruling is disgusting, it makes me with disabilities developed later due to chronic illness feel sustained in the thought that society views me as less. This is abilism, the law is discriminatory and should be changed immediately. There's no valid argument against changing the law. If the mother is at risk, she is covered by other legislation to terminate, just like any other pregnancy. If she is not capable of looking after the child then she can place them for adoption, like any other pregnancy. It's discrimination because of antiquated views put in place barely after the disabilities act of the US, and really makes me ashamed of the lawmakers of this country. We need to be better.
