I cried when I first heard this version... It is the verry heart of blues,,, it's like a lesson in Blues... pfff..

BB king always sing his songs from the heart, he set the path for others to follow his music. God bless him, may his soul rest in peace. He made a difference in people of all cultures.

Now, this is Blues. Some people play songs from the 30's, 40's and 50's that they say is Blues but to me it sounds like Rock and Roll. This right here is what I want to hear. Thank God for BB King and his way of interpreting.

Amazing! !!Lucille has been my favourite artist from my early schools days at the college in South Africa, My first encounter with BB King he introduced me to BB King of his Classic National Anthem of the World of Jazz " The thrill is gone" I have been playing BB more often than not , I was only 17 , 2019 at the age of 60 I am still listening to BB " RIP The Legend! !

He sang the same track all over again with so much pathos and intensity. He was a true musician. Such a great loss ...

My god, did BB King cry? That's like the zenith of blues.

There is no comparing BB King to anyone, but if you want to hear a respectable cover of this song do a search on a band called "The Stumble" out of UK. I think BB would give it his blessing. I only found it a week or two ago and can't stop listening to it...such a great song!

Another great video of this tune is called:B.B King All Over Again- live in Tokyo 1989. Posted by: Gintautas Neverdauskas. Another great one is: B B King Blues Band live at the North Sea Jazz Festival 10-07-1987. Again, there are a lot of videos of Mr.B B King performing this song live. Hope this was helpful.

B.King performing this tune live. This masterpiece is so powerful, that B.B. King has Lucille🎸 his guitar talking without saying a word. 😄So does the keyboard 🎹 player too. Those solos are so great, you can actually relate to the music, and feel this music. That's why I'm watching every video I can find on KZread with B.B. and his band performing it. The one he did in Tokyo posted by Gintautas Neverdauskas is a great version too. Be blessed and stay safe.

I feel this is so much more superior than Green's. Also, the style in which they both play it, are very different. B.B.'s is more in a jazz orchestra style versus Green's Blues Rock style.
