BAYAN KO by Korean Choir Singer [Philippine Greatest Song Ever]
Музыка
One of the Philippines greatest song
"Bayan Ko" (My Country)
The song was originally composed in 1928 by Constancio de Guzman, with lyrics by poet Jose Corazon de Jesus, during a time of struggle for Philippine independence from US occupation.
It was first recorded in 1978 by Freddie Aguilar in a patriotic effort to, in his words, "jolt back those who were starting to forget who we really are. He also provided a rendition of the song as it is inspiring and gave him excitement and a surge of power.
Original Audio Here by Freddie Aguilar: • BAYAN KO by Freddie Ag...
Lyrics
Ang bayan kong Pilipinas
Lupain ng ginto't bulaklak
Pag-ibig na sa kanyang palad
Nag-alay ng ganda't dilag
At sa kanyang yumi at ganda
Dayuhan ay nahalina
Bayan ko, binihag ka
Nasadlak sa dusa
CHORUS
Ibon mang may layang lumipad
Kulungin mo at umiiyak
Bayan pa kayang sakdal-dilag
Ang 'di magnasang makaalpas
Pilipinas kong minumutya
Pugad ng luha at dalita
Aking adhika
Makita kang sakdal laya
AD LIB
[Repeat Chorus]

The only country who sent an ALL VOLUNTEER ARMY who withstood a chinese onslaught and advance on their positions on a hill though ordered by an American commander to retreat disregarded such an order for their own safety and wellbeing, the filipino Captain decided to slug it out against the incoming chinese soldiers though OUTNUMBERED fifty to one showed their uncanny grit, valor and bravery against ALL ODDS and showed to the whole world they're a fighting force to recon with. No it's not about a foreigner raping a Filipino woman. it's about the disdain of foreigners (Spaniards, Americans, and Japanese) colonizing a beautiful country (Philippines). In the song the country is compared to a bird where even it wants to be freed when captured, let alone a beautiful country.
@theunknown5483

@@gnhoj69 i think both of ur concept combined together is the right one. The first part of the song is clearly describing it as a person "at sa kaniyang yumi at ganda" and the 2nd part of the song stated that "ibon man may layang lumipad" the 2nd part compared it to a bird. So yah
