I've always liked this design for some reason, even though on the tabletop it's not as good as the timber wolf and definitely not as good as the Warhawk, or even the Gladiator. I kind of think of this one and the Gladiators kind of a set of twins, mostly because they are humanoid and very tall.

Nice quick new intro! These mechs are, strange to put kindly. I've never had luck with them on the table, on MWO it'll be good but it's far from anything the clans made. Out of the box the Alpha is my favorite, but I'm partial to lasers and cerppcs, two and more enough said on a blazing fast chassis.

The primary configuration of this mech annoys me with just how bad it is. Two LBX-5 and two SRM-6 (not even Streak!) are really weak for a clan assault mech. The chassis has 16 double heat sinks, and that weapons loadout can't even come close to using them all.

yea, it looks okay on paper but in combat (tabletop video game or otherwise) most enemies wont repect the "shotgun" damage as it will so often miss the exposed location you were aiming for. To me this is a mech that evolved with the times and the thinking of the clans.

when it comes to MWO i recommend muting coms and turning on all chat, greet your opponents with a o7 and they will do it back, i very rarely have a bad time playing since i took this policy, hope to see you on the battlefield
