He has always been my favourite. I was about 5-6 episodes in the show in 2003 and I knew this dude is gonna be great. Starbuck, the Adamas, Helo are obvious choices. But I always felt like Saul Tigh is my guy. What an arc he had already and there is so much more to come.

The mission when they crossed the boarded was 6 years before the attack, and the early confirmed cylon infiltrator was boomer 1 year after bulldogs mission, so it fair the assume the humans provoked the war

All's fair in war, but if the Cylons didn't infiltrate and sneak attack, the Colonial forces would've wiped them out in a fair fight. The cylons were much weaker. A newer battlestar, fully functional, could easily take out a number of bases tars and the colonies had hundreds of battlestars. Unlike the original show, that only had 13.

They say CBDR allot, It stands for Constant Bearing, Decreasing Range, and refers to an object on an intercept or collision course with a ship. And Krypter This term is the Colonial equivalent of "Mayday" We use Mayday, I think it's the French word for help me or something like that. or close to it.

Probably one of my favourite episode of the whole show. First, I absolutely love the Valkyrie's design. It's a shitty Battlestar compared to the Galactica or the Mercury class but its a really good ship for her size ( she's tiny ). Brilliant character work in the epside. You learn that Adama was blaming himself this whole time for starting the war. Now you go back and think about every significant decision he made and try to work out how is this burden affected his decisions, including the very first one when he was ready to go back and fight after rearmed at Ragnar. Starbuck. Once again, shows how different she is and proves how valuable to have someone like her on a team. Something was nagging at her, she didn't know what that was, but it was going against everything she learned about the Cylons so far. So she started reviewing the footage hoping something will pop and it did. REally good stuff. I love the friendship between Adama and Tigh. Their relationship is most likely the most stable relationship they ever had in both of their lives lol. Bill meant it when he told Sual to go take as much time that he needs to process. He knew his friend was devastated and needed time. He was there when he needed him to talk about what happened to Ellen. That was such a nice scene. Tigh's arc is phenomenal and there is so much more to come. My favourite set on the show besides the CIC is Adama's room. Some of the very best scenes on the show was there in that room. :) @Mike - Mark my words mate, you will be dying to know what did she see between life and death very soon :) BTW when they said "Cylon Raiders CBDR" it means Constant Bearing Decreasing Range. They're not maneuvering in relation to you, they're flying straight at you.

Anyone notice that in the flashback scene in the C.I.C of Valkyrie, Adama was wearing admiral collar badges? Not sure if it was a continuity mistake or he was demoted after that mission failure.

5:17 Not all that important, but Tigh isn't convincing himself anything really. He's just passing the cigarette over his bad eye until he can see it with his good eye. There's no rhyme nor reason, he's just lost it a little bit. I'm trying to think of a better way to explain, but it hard to think of something to compare it to. It's dissociation, more than anything else

Ok, just an update (looking back) -- early on you got comments about this show working both on what you saw (humans vs Cylons, god vs gods, religions vs atheism) and parallel to that the show also worked on a Meta level -- as we had / have "Head 6" and the Opera House, that manifested itself as both ruins and fully built on Kobol , home of the gods . D'Ana , either through hanging out a bit too much President Gaius and Caprica 6 or through a combination of hanging out with those two + her own observation of being a "chosen one" ("god loves me !" was her final statement before getting killed by Caprica 6 back on Caprica, where Caprica 6 and Sharon saved Xander from D'Ana) -- anyway ... -- D'Ana is starting to access the Opera House ... , but not through "normal means" (she keeps killing herself) , and through her moments of resurrection had started getting glimpses that she cannot interpret (perhaps because they were not meant for her) .

@@neutchain7838 -- You're correct, however I've seen too many reviewers that around this point have started to take 'Head 6' totally for granted , like "that's just how Gaius is ..." , and have forgotten about the Opera House and D'Ana's attempts to "understand love" from a machine's perspective , so I thought to throw in a non-spoilery reminder that these things exist , and that they are part of the story .

Not a fan of that crap either that's why I don't watch it but its so funny to put them side by side and compare them. One is an absolute trainwreck with a writing quality of a poorly educated pre-teen, the other is a competent writing team of adults writing stories for adults and integrating political themes into the show in a very intelligent way.
