Well, he's the thing everyone ELSE is not. If everyone who said they were in the SAS or SBS was actually in it, Britain would still have an empire. Maybe it's easier to be yourself, when your self has had such an interesting life

Do you know what? This is one of the best interviews I’ve heard in a while. Usually when someone interviews guys from the Special Forces you usually hear the same old questions over and over, but it was nice to hear you having a chat, as such. You clearly did your homework. A great listen!

The bit about mums washing their 16 year old boys stopped my migraine in its tracks. I think we'd get arrested for that in Australia. Yeah certainly a visit from the authorities. But I still couldn't stop laughing for reasons I'm not telling - to protect the innocent lol

Just coming across this video because I’ve become really interested in these lads but, wow fantastic interview. You talk in such a down to Earth manner and asks the proper questions in the right way. Can tell Jason’s comfortable and not going through the same bullshit as any other interview. Brilliant content and host. Thank you for this

Same selection course. And now, SAS, SBS, SFSG, etc, are all under the umbrella: UKSF. Besides, boats and planes are very similar except the food is better on boats, and you're more likely to survive when they sink.

because they are both brit special forces and have a lot of similarities so are easily confused, because they SBS is generally a lot less well known than the SAS, because he is on a tv show called " *SAS* who dares wins", and because unless you are one of the few people in the SAS or SBS it really doesn't matter, relax.

@@rachelwaters5682 Doesn't matter if they are similar or if he is one of the few. It's about getting your facts right and paying your respects through that aswell. Because SBS is less known, if anything, these interviewers should be spreading more light onto it, when having a talk with an ex SBS soldier. Besides, the training phase as a whole is harder for SBS than SAS, due to the 'Swimmer canoeist (SC3) training course' that SBS candidates will still have to go through for several months more when their counter-parts would "graduate". This covers long distance dives, swims and kayaks in open sea often in poor weather, underwater demolitions, maritime counter terrorism, beach reconnaissance, surveying techniques. Not to mention, the greater psychological and physical stamina and resilience you need to operate in water, compared to land. The differences are day and night and thats why these people should be getting the facts right, yourself included so dont talk out of your fucking ass.
