I just watched the podcast with binky where he says about a podcast that was the worst didn’t mention his name but this was it

Actually quite enjoyed this! Didn't think Mat was rude, just being honest and not kissing up to the presenters!

Is he on something? Such weird behaviour at some points!

he was kinda abrupt and self confident, but i wouldnt say he was rude, just playful. He also warmed up alot further into the podcast.

Did not expect Matthew Horne to be so rude and cocky. Very uncomfortable to watch. Felt sorry for Jamie and Francis.

I was backstage at a Maccabees concert last summer, and Matt was there too. He was on something then- how obnoxious drugs make some people 🙄

I actually found this quite funny - Took them a minute to kind of settle into one another’s senses of humour, I think, but otherwise I think they bounced off each other quite well. Mat seems a bit arrogant at times but he’s equally ready to have a laugh and some back-and-forth with J+F, which I really don’t think is as bad as people are making out.

actually coming back to this a few years later, he isnt as bad in this interview as people originally thought. Sure, he's got a crude recording personality but you cant blame him for that considering his past. He just seems deflated because he's sitting next to Jamie, and we're all used to having his bubbly, excitable personality. Mat just comes across as a normal guy, and isnt trying to fake his personality to be liked. Its an unusual authenticity that you dont commonly see in stars anymore.

The guy is very amusing and intelligent

Funniest podcast so far, Matts quick witted and bounces off Francis really well

Christ. Has he been having a terrible time? He was rude and it became a bit difficult to watch. This is not sweets and it's somebody who is high/sleep deprived. He was rude to Jamie, and not in a playful way.

You are not always going to have good interviews. Sometimes you'll have challenging ones. Put it down to experience and learn from it. I could see Matt was bored right from the get go. If you are an inexperienced interviewer (which is understandable as you guys were just starting out) you might not know the techniques to engage them quickly in order to prevent it setting the tone for the rest of the interview. For an interviewer just starting, that can affect their confidence and they might take it personal. Jamie is a chatty guy anyway but if it was someone else, they would have died as it can severely affect an interviewer's confidence. Despite Matt's antics, Jamie did pretty well keeping the conversation going, although I can tell he was affected. When Matt resulted to being rude about your show, I liked what Francis did there. He resulted to self deprication. That minimised the akwardness hence why Matt warmed to to Francis.

If you just listen to the pod cast but not watch, it makes Matt seem much more pleasurable. I Dunno why

Hes the type to go through a massive mental breakdown due to drug use and ego. Then he will become all woke and altruistic. The whole time using people and discarding them like used tissues. Lovely guy really.

I swear people just form their opinions of people solely based off what other people say about them, the amount of comments on this video basically saying the same thing just worded slightly differently about Mathew is bizarre, form your own opinions you boring muppets don’t just say what everyone else is saying.

FRANCIS, what did you mean by Jamie pretends like he is a black rapper from the 90's? Is that supposed to be the antithesis of "posh"? As a black, African girl, I am VERY offended by that comment. Sounds like a very bigoted statement. I hope you didn't mean it in the way it came out because I thought you were more enlightened than that.
