the AI difficulty seems to be different every time I play. Sometimes Felucia could take a while and go into overtime once or twice, but then I play it again and we finish the game with almost no resistance.

The only annoying thing about the AI is that they can shoot while they roll

Literally heard that when I saw this comment.

I’ve only ever had one issue. I was playing on Felucia for the first time in this game mode. The second phase went on forever. Me and my team set for a good 15 minutes trying to capture a command post. It was hard yet when we finally captured it, it felt great. It was so immersive. The only thing that some what bothered me was how long it took. It wasn’t that annoying though. It was phenomenal. It’s one of my favourite game modes. Not much of a problem but it bothered me at the time. Looking back, that was one of the most immersive and fun experiences I’ve had playing any game not just Star Wars!

I sometimes purposely make that second phase last longer to rack up killstreaks. Got multiple 100+ clone commando streaks doing this. To keep the streak going, After the long second phase go to the left command post, there seem to be more enemies there. In the last phase sit on the gunship lobbing grenades down into the pile of droids.

There's definitely something up with Kamino. They never push and the reinforcements are always minimal.

Inferno X300 that’s the defensive side that wasn’t added in co-op. Over a month ago they showed that you can play defence and it looked intense holding and objective fighting waves of enemies until the timer runs out.

I love co op! A couple days ago I was playing with my brothers on Felucia/ geonosis and we were all clone commandos. We were being swarmed by droids and it was just epic seeing round flying through the air, explosions and clones and droid dropping around us.

I once played co op on the rebel side, cuz til then I was playing Empire only. It was on Endor and it was foggy. And then we got to the 3rd phase and a walker spawned. Most nightmarish experience in the game I've ever had, cuz up until then I had only been playing as the AT-ST myself, so I had no idea how terrifying it was to be a normal rebel soldier and be face to face with a giant mechanical monster armed with missiles, grenade launchers, blaster cannons and no mercy or regret when it shoots you

Top difficult maps of co-op in my opinion are Naboo, Kashyyyk, and Felucia. If they added vehicles, all the hero’s, droidkas and clone commandos I think that will higher the difficulty therefore making it better.

Co-op is op for grinding weapons in the early game got the tl50 in 30 minutes

Co/op is my favorite mode by far. Unlock all maps/hero’s and it’s perf. Ahh I love it, love the insane moments. Last stage of Naboo, second stage in felucia, *SO GOOD*

If you’re playing as the galactic republic on geonosis co-op you would know that it is almost impossible to take over the last command post. The enemy AI keep getting tanks after tanks and the reinforcements for them are insane.

I would like other heroes like Vador and Palpatine, and also have coop for space fight.

“Do you know what I mean” got damn you keep saying that😂

The greatest ting about Battlefront is lining up Droidekeas and marching with your shields up whilst firing.

The only problem is no splitscreen co op means SPLITSCREEN this is just another multiplayer mode. Put more local modes dammit

Well because there are two different players playing on same screen (unless you are talking about other split screens which I am not aware of). So many people would often forget their own character and try to control the other one... also your eyes constantly shift over to the player's character (you are playing with)...

I've got to agree with you on how easy some maps are. But I have to say that Geonosis is the best coop map, feels so cinematic. Recently, I went on it and two of my team mates went after one objective and another one and I went to the other objective. But they were Obi-wan and I was a Commando. It also didn't feel like the Hero was taking all the kills like in Capital supremacy or Galactic Assault. They were helping me and in return I was helping them. It was probably the best match I've been on. I hope to have more of these moments in the future.

Got a 1 death 139 kill streak on felucia today, felt awesome.

Chewbacca melts heroes so easily in co-op. do not under estimate CO-OP CHEWBACCA! He will destroy you!

Coming back to BF2 after a year and man I really love co-op missions. Spent my weekend playing co-op and nothing else. I just wish there are more scenarios like Walker Assault rather than just capture the point. It's a convenient way to grind for XPs and completing milestones for weapons too.

Yeah happened to me multiple times. A pattern I noticed was that the best player of the previous round has a chance to end up on the opposite team.

It's interesting seeing this video 11 months after it came out and hearing that Geonosis was too easy. In my experience playing co-op, I don't think I've ever won a match on Geonosis, regardless of the side I'm on. It could be that I'm not the best player (I wouldn't say I'm /bad/, though), but I've found that it's been impossible for me to either hold or capture the last command post under the hardcell transports :/

Drink every time he says “Star Wars moments”

The last stage of Geonosis is just hard. AATs, Dooku, Grievous, B2, B2-RPs, and BX Commandos. When you gain a few ground IN the objective, you get killed. There are also so many enemies, you get your health shredded in a few seconds. This is when I am the republic.

AT-RT is one of the best reinforcements for CO-OP, you can kill and heal and do that the entire match

They should make co-op for the og series. Darth Vader and Luke defending Yavin or Hoth

Hahaha the AI at Kamino's first command post: running around below you and occasionally send a vanguard up the ramp, but if you go toward the unit, he will hop off the ledge.

I just want the other eras for co-op for me to keep playing it and i want the option to defend on the maps, as for the ai i think that theyre fine

I agree it was so hard on Felicia it felt like I couldn’t win

I’ve always felt like clones are better fighters but droids have more variation and a greater number. That’s what makes these battles feel so real and good as clones.

I'm addicted to Co op, It reminds me of when I played as a droideka in old battlefront 2

I don't know, Felucia kinda feels unfair seeing where they spawn and how many spawn in one area just to overwhelm you in a matter of seconds. The push uphill after the first point is always hard and I've never won it because of how overwhelmed you can be in such an open area. Needs some cover in that large circle to feel like I can take that point. I don't think the spawn points need relocating or that the numbers should be lessened so close, just if it has to be close cover is needed to make the point feel captue-able.

@@ShekelOverlords I've done that and still with a constant bombardment of droids. I feel like it's a hit or miss situation. If you fail once, you fail the mission. Standard challenge crap, but I don't know the area doesn't make it feel "fair", for a lack of better words.

@@Start3rPack yeah that's a problem everyone has I have played him for a while he is my fourth highest lvl at 60 so I have had a bit of practice with him

My only issues are: - Bowcaster shots are unblockable by saber heroes. - AI can still shoot you while rolling - AI can still headshot you while being force pushed, choke slammed, knocked over, flipped upside-down & backwards. - Obiwan's Mind Trick does not disable enemy AI Hero abilities - Occasionally you'll spawn on the enemy team. - There's no appreciable stun when blaster enemies are hit by a lightsaber. They can just stand there and keep shooting you uninterrupted like you didn't just chop off one of their limbs. - Mudholes on Felucia: sometimes you get permanently stuck in one and can't roll/dodge/jump/block and you're stuck there until someone comes along and kills you. Other than that I love it! Just the right amount of difficulty for casual players like me.

So much prequel love. Getting one new thing for OT is too much to ask for.

They're going to add the rest of the hereos, vehicles and some reinforcements that weren't available to fight against because they were gone because of a bug :D My only complaint is that there is no defence. Why did they remove defence in co-op?

AI Darth Maul needs to do something other than block the entire time. He should be utilizing his dashes and dodges. Right now he just stands there and blocks. I thought the characters were supposed to play like how they are in the real Star Wars. It’s not appearing that way.

Double xp in Co-Op is crazy, can level up basically anything you want super quick

My best moment was being a clone on Kamino and getting pushed back to the final command post. I positioned myself in a hallway as a commando prepared to fight a hoard of droids and face my eventual death. Although before the droids attacked another commando came to my side and together we held the line. Eventually darth sideous appeared and I was forced to fall back. The other commando stayed behind to fend them off and buy me time to escape.... He didn't make it. To that commando, I shall never forget your sacrifice.

Regarding how one of your friends said he didn’t really like the timer, how about a life system like he wanted, but when you ran out of lives, instead of losing, your team becomes “breaking,” like in For Honor. It would really make it tense, especially when/if they add defense.

We need the option to chose the difficulty for the bots like: recruit Normal Hardened Veteran

I agree with the points on how the AI can be dummy stupid at times. If you do want immersion and to raise the difficulty bar a teensy bit, I would suggest playing in the first person. This is so it prevents you from corner peaking and so you'll be immersed into the game a little more. It'll be difficult to adjust to at first, but it made some of my games a bit fun ever since I switched to the first-person view.

Co Op mode is Anakin's playground. It is so satisfying using him in it. Last night got 245 kills with a approx. 105 kill streak.

Thanks Andrew, now geonosis is the hardest map

Also if DICE can add a private matche system then you could have your own custom battles with your friends in Capital Supremacy/Galactic Assault without having tryhards ruin your fun.

I really do love the game mode but I do agree that felucia and naboo are the only maps the have a real challenge. The other maps need a bit of a raise in difficulty.

I was about to give up the game because all I played, or at least tried to play, was Galactic Assault and it made me ragequit because I could kill no one with my shitty default blasters. Until I scrolled through the gamemodes and tried coop. Not only is it my favorite gamemode, but it also made me a lot better and more experienced. But it's not like I play GA or CS a lot anymore. Melting through enemy lines as Palpatine on Ajan Kloss or defending the station on Endor as a chicken walker... nothing can compare to that

I like Co-Op because whenever I’m playing as the Galactic Republic, there’s always someone joining me as a Republic Commando holding one point together lmao

I know this over a year old. Geonosis is now hard as hell to beat if no one is dedicated to at least one Command Post and the final one is closer to Droid AI Spawn. Naboo is harder to defend due to the AI rushing and if your Randoms aren't rushing to defend after dying then you'll likely get pushed into the Capitol and if they get Villain killed and 3 of them are holding a room you'll likely lose it still and have to hold the final CP which has 4 entrances the AI can rush through. Kamino is a lot easier to hold IF someone good can hold the Checkpoint outside while 3 others chill inside. (First CPs) Kashyyyk has a "Hold the line or die" type of last stand with the final CP, if you go to where the line is bearly crossbow then you can hold for at least a minute or two. Once the AI starts holding the CP push them back rinse and repeat. Felucia is a lot easier and can be won if everyone is dedicated to the CPs my favorite CP to take has be C in the beginning due to how easy it is to hold it and gives you extra time for later use IF you start making goofs. The Dreadnought and Republic Star Destroyer can be held with ease or taken with ease so no need to go into detail. All in all the hardest maps have basically been switched where playing with randoms I have won Naboo maybe twice and Geonosis probably six or seven times. Just with randoms of course

I love the co-op

Kamino is DEF buggy. The 1st round, the AI half the time will run up the ramp, then jump off, and run around the ground level, rarely charging you. In the 2nd stage, the AI disappears. After you clear them from the landing pad, maybe like 5 troops will appear. Also, there's def spawn issues when they all come running in at the same time through the same door. I find the other levels to be challenging, and not a guaranteed win, but Kamino, you gotta try to lose that one. It's a great mode. I REALLY, REALLY hope they open it up to the other eras. It's really the only mode I can get time playing heros in.

They said they were working on the ai jumping off ledges (often to their death) so expect that to be gone soon.

I got the bug where it became 1 vs 3. It was so much fun. And I won in the first round. Maybe because 2 of the 3 had no idea but it was so immersive and the difficultly was spot on. They sound make it a thing.

Felucia as a whole is just a very interesting planet. A planet teeming with dangerous threats and tons of wildlife. As a developer i would find felucia fun to work on

You know what's fun in the last phase of Felicia I was playing as Yoda. I kept getting 10 plus kills because of all the eniemes are in literally in a pile. His unleash ablity is op in that scenario.

They seem to go mental once you become a hero like every single one shorting at you.

Naboo is so hard but I love it! I feel like they should add the original maps to the game mode too (like Hoth, Endor, etc.)

The fact that kills count in co op when grinding out for weapon upgrades and class ranks is the best

The hardest Co op map for me is the Endor one at the very last stage when you're assaulting with the Rebellion. You have to take the top and bottom area of the base and my teammates constantly follow me but don't split up. So it ends up with us taking the bottom, then the AI take the top, so I rush up to take the top and my team abandons the bottom to help me and then the AI take the bottom. This usually flip flops until the time runs out or all of my teammates leave in frustration.

It would be awesome to fight against a Darth Vader and Emperor AI while attacking the Death Star..

I think it may be a bit more difficult when the Ai actually uses vehicles and all the reinforcements. They also need to be a bit more aggressive. Like the first point on kamino is so easy because they hardly charge up the Ramps

It happens in cs and instant action too with that command post the bots just get stuck down below there. Its a shame especially in co-op because it could be one of the most intense areas to defend/attack, as shown by cs. Its the same for the turbo tank phase on kashyyyk. Went from the most intense part in ga to the least intense in co-op

my only problem is when I roll and I get hit on the foot or something and it PULLS ME BACK

DEFEND mode was really fun. The game glitched on me and I was able to play as a defender with no human players, only AI. The attackers at first were really weak (like in BF1 Skirmish mode). But then the tougher unites showed up and it was pure CHAOS. It needs tweaking but it is going to be great when ready. Hopefully.

2 years later as I'm playing it for the first time and the AI just spawn on top of you in hordes and make it impossible to defend points by sitting on it in dozens. I'd say they changed it since this video.

Difficulty spikes. Some maps in terms of difficulty are a complete joke but then others are borderline impossible

I think the only map that feels easy all the way through is Geonosis... The last command post on Kamino is pretty challenging! But, Naboo and Felucia are definitely the best maps for Co-op!!
