The other day I had a tragedy and a blessing. I was playing Hero Showdown and was blessed with a 1v1 against a somewhat low level. Something Bonnie, I think. Absolutely wonderful person. They left the match though eventually after having a few respectful duels and staring into space as Darth Vader and Yoda (I was Yoda, someone who I am very proud to main), on the Death Star map. If you are reading this something Bonnie something and you are on Playstation, congratulations. You are a great person to duel with. I was actually a much higher level Luke than their Maul, and they beat me. Just goes to show how levels aren't everything :)

I play fair in 1v1 situations and I sit out until my teammate dies but when the enemies 2v1 on me then I always help my teammate killing one person at a time I have a very high temper when it comes to losing ngl

well, bombastic is pretty much a noob where the heroes/villains are concerned. I do admit that I didn't know Yoda could shoot Dooku's lightning back in the game. I've never witnessed it until now. it does make sense, though. I mean, he did it in attack of the clones.

I’ve always done Hero Showdown, because in HVV everyone always 4v1s you and if 1 person leaves it throws off the whole team and the other team gets essentially a guaranteed victory

Yes this mode is very good when you play with only one friend. It’s actually very fun.

Right battlefront 2 literally gives u a view on Star Wars fans there hella toxic, I was just playing a hero vs villain match and it was a 2v4 for the whole time and instead of playing fair, they all would attack us, then what makes it worse is the old or “good” players literally are toxic they keep killing u when ur distracted this game is shit but not because of the game but because of the players. Honestly they should make a mechanic where if the whole team is attacking a single player, the player should be able to have more health and do more damge, if there being ganged bang by the whole team.

I'm literally now waiting for next game of hero showdown to start when this video gets posted

Hero showdown is the best especially in 1v1 situations on the right map and when they just happen to choose the right villain or hero for the perfect era it’s like poetry

When they “actually” allow 1v1’s.... more often than not lately I get players who just go full frontal assault

This is my favorite game mode. it’s so fun if you have a buddy that’s just as good as you and know how to counter other teams. love it

Yoda can do the Tutaminis block in all game modes to charge up his unleash ability. I've read though that when charging up, Yoda can hold onto absorbed force energy much longer than absorbed blaster bolts.

I love hero showdown I play it all the time. The best thing about hero showdown is because there is such a small community your bound to meet someone who you have played before. In Australia my mortal enemy is darthrevan66. Btw Andrew if you want to get a 4 friend match easier change your servers to Japan from Australia it's not too laggy and the lobby's are empty.

My least played is strike and my discord clan actually held a tournament for this gamemode witch I won

yep. he would've won if he did. well, there was more chances of winning. yeah, boba's rifle is really freaking inaccurate while flying. however, the main reason he has a jetpack is that his character needs to have a high vantage point. he also didn't use the rockets or concussion missile.

I love heroes showdown is probably one of my favourite modes I play it with my mate and we always enjoy it

Me and 3 of my friends did some friendly 2v2s and it was really cool and funny, normally we go in 2 separate groups and switch to Brazil servers since there’s a lot less people doing 2v2s in Brazil

0:10 I agree completely. I rarely play any hero mode (outside of co-op), or starfighter or ewok hunt or cargo. The problem with the 4v4 or 2v2 modes is the maps are too large; cutting them down to 1/2 or 1/4 would reduce the walking/sprinting and force more confrontation, making them more exciting. The first time I played Hero Showdown, my partner and I wandered through Jabba's Palace while our opponents just sat and waited in ambush. Got boring fast. I've gotten better with heroes after playing a lot of co-op and am interested in trying HvV again. But I prefer to have Objectives to motivate me, not Kills.

Not a big fan of EA's BF2 but when the game 1st game came out, I had some good moments in Strike. Strike was the 1st game mode I tried and I remember it was the game that we should of lost but won. It honestly felt like a star wars moment. It was Strike mode on Endor and I was on the rebel side. We were in overtime, and we had to plant the plans to the ship, but we were cornered at the exist of the building. We were literally on overtime for 10 minutes, but the other team would let us out, and if the guy with the plan died we would of lost. No body wanted to go outside and I said to myself "if we lose I might as well get some kills and point" so I start to rush outside. I died the 1st 2-3 attempt, but then I was able to break through using the rocket class and boom, I start blasting troopers left and right. That's when my team slowly started pushing to. We all start pushing towards the ship, and I remember the guy who had the plans was a Wookie, so he was able to take damage while planting. And boom we had won the game. In my opinion, Strike was underrated and it was the best. It was the only game mode that No matter the odds, 1 person could pool a last minute miracle and change the battle, 1 person could really make a difference in the battle. In all the other game modes, if your all not working together (which doesn't help you can't communicate) then your team will lose.
