The first part is Black Hawk Down Remastered The other part is supposed to be a modernized version of delta force but it does have a very 2042ish look to it Especially with how the vehicles handle and their upgrades There's a bunch of gameplay out already to check out

The fact that Black Hawk Down revolved around units all having different equipment and classes from Delta to the Rangers - the main two snipers etc means the game should also reflect that.

Why is it so absolutely difficult of game developers to realize that I don't want to play as a loud and annoying "fellow kids" speshul forces operator? I just wanna be a normal looking soldier goon who has believable and stressed out voice acting. Bonus points for not having some lame fantastical ability that tears me out of the experience like a teleporting grappling hook or something.

The title of the game is similar to a lot of mobile titles. The game is also developed and published by Chinese companies. Best to wait and see how things are later on. Just seems like an odd combination of a specific campaign based Operation Gothic Serpent in 1993, then have a complete late modern/futuristic Battlefield clone multiplayer. While being free to play. Makes me curious what assets are actually being used in development. Unreal has so many premade assets available that it's very easy to make the presented game look good to a new audience in a cut and chaotic trailer.

It was probably a compromise between the devs and the publisher. Devs wanted to remaster the original Black Hawk Down, publisher wanted a futureshit sandbox shooter. They reached a middle ground where single-player would be a remake of Black Hawk Down while multiplayer (where the real money is to be made) is a futureshit sandbox shooter.

Could've really made the game stand out from the crowd if the multiplayer modes were set in the 90s Black Hawk Down aesthetic. And avoid the hero shooter crap.

Dude, I played the OG one on my first PC back in the day. Had so much fun playing both the singleplayer game. It was like I was in the Blackhawk Down movie.

I remember, in grade school, we sent letters to soldiers over in the East. The one I got was a chaplain within the United States Army. He mentioned that his friend, whose name I cannot remember (this was over twenty years ago), was one of those who experienced what was become the premise of Black Hawk Down during his service time. The mention of that in this video made me think of those letters.

Just takes me back to the 'good old days' of Novalogic.

I hope this game gives us lots of sight options like where the optic sits on the rail,choosing the sights magnification,canted sights, magnifiers, different reticules,adjusting the color and size of said reticules,high zoom scopes with red dots on top of them,and maybe even on some scopes choosing between the old black around the scope or newer dual rendered scopes. I’m excited to play this. I’ve not really been happy with how EA and DICE have been handling Battlefield since BF4 so a similar title is awesome to see.

Only issue i have with battlebit rn is their just aren't enough Air options. There are Heli's which is cool, but planes/jets would be dope, they could do more with AA if they added them (Granted this is all my opinion, I just miss BF4 lmao). DUDE also adding a commander would be fun af. I miss playing commander in BF4

@@totalguardian1436 I like the time period better and I'm optimistic with the state that dice is at. They also have the most studios/people working on the new battlefield, although that could be a bad thing. The delta force game looks good, but it's made a large Chinese company and I don't know what government spyware is most likely going to be in it, probably something is going to be in the anti cheat. Also the abilities don't really appeal to me. The extraction mode being lumped in also doesn't appeal to me and probably takes away from the regular multiplayer development, unless they have a separate team on that. The second biggest turnoff after the China part would be that the game is free to play, which has its own baggage. That said, a lot of things look cool about it, like the Apache helicopter.

I just want this for Black Hawk Down, my favorite movie. I remember when this first came out I just played that mission over and over. Can’t wait for it

I been ready for this game to come out any competition to Cod and battlefield is a good thing for us gamers. Means the devs actually will have to listen to us bc the game that delivers what the community wants will get more players. So hopefully this game is good which looks like it will really hoping the Extraction mode will deliver bc that is the genre I'm looking at now that seems for fun for my older age group. I remember upgrading to 512 cable for df2 but 56k on bf1 I was a god on castle battle with my 50cal 😂 I started a clan too and had scrimmages all the time, SOG (shades of grey) where the top clan at the time, I miss the community, now you just have a bunch of sweats and toxicity in shooters, I was only thinking how did we play online lag free on 56k lol

Its crazy my parents bought this for me for our home computer when it came out I was 10years old. My dad would sit and watch me play and this is the first game where I learned sniping and was addicted. I dont remember the name of the map but probably was a custom map where myself and another guy would have long range sniping matches. I remember being able to see him through the scope and the muzzle flash and being able to roll left or right and watch the shot hit beside me XD

I remember Delta Force 2 "That was my First PVP FPS Online gaming experience" back in 1999

BHD was a CLASSIC. The competative scene in TKOTH was amazing. Never found a game that captured that adrenaline inducing rush like BHD did.

Delta Force is on the horizon and I'm here for it!

The Extraction Shooter gamemode looks insane.....multiple maps with bosses/different types of enemies, skills and abilities, mechanics, loot, Map OBJs, ways to change the map and objective via the missile launchers and Train they mentioned blah blah..... honestly sounds amazing and all this for FREE?? MTX must go crazy cause no way all of this is for "FREE".... looks insane so hopefully it comes out ASAP

It feels like a jigsaw puzzle of different games.

Am I the only one who feels sorrowfully nostalgic when we see the the clips from 1:50 onwards knowing that modern games with more realistic graphics whilst great, seemingly strip games of their wholesomeness?

Any word on the size of the hazard ops lobbies? Or map size for that matter?
