i love it when the Artillery strike breaks the cable acres, it gives the reason how the tower falls, in 2042 version, the tower falls because it falls. Imagine the explosions on all cables for the 2042 version. And then the Water tower and the small antenna on the hilltop are now indestructible.

I was playing on that map in 2042, while I was dealing with an enemy helicopter with my AA tank, I hit the tower and it collapsed onto me, it actually caught me by surprise since I was focusing on the enemy helicopter!

They really made the cloud formations the same and everything. Quite a faithful remake of the map.

@@zainul0021 He's not incorrect, 2042 has a very high detail. The problem is that all that detail looks very static and stale in comparison to a game like BF3 and BF1. Those games looked much more fluid in the environment and make you feel much more immersed in the game. With all that resolution in 2042, it still just feels flat.

BF3 is still my favorite of all time

Only real ones who played it during it's cycle know that bf3 was peak ✊🏽 hopping on a ps3 after school and starting up "Rush" on the map "Damavand Peak" and base jumping with all your teammates to the next objective, now that was an awesome feeling back in the day. Dice has forgotten that important ingredient in their formula lately 😢 anyone else got some memorable "battlefield moments" to share and reminisce on 😂

In battlefield 3 it was really impressive!

If you combined the best elements from both you'd have the perfect scene. It's ridiculous that 2042 wasn't and isn't what we are all playing right now. Dice had millions of people ready to jump ship from CoD to Battlefield and instead, life long Battlefield fan boys like me have completely given up on the series and I'm excited for MW2. At least they listen to their fans and don't try to mimic everyone in the industry.

dice team actually left..they started their own new studio so..what was left was no experience incompetant developers that was left over at dice..that made 2042 the old team in their new studio has made 2 new games and boy can u see the dice destruction in it is real and on another level..its also a fps game the other game is a 3rd person open world game..both look awsum this is the real dice team

Doubt it because they tend to kill old games in the fear it will cut into sales of the newer stuff, which shows how much faith the current staff has in their product. They even go after grassroot free-to-play attempts to revive old BF games. BF Revive lasted barely a year; however, it was glorious while it lasted. Maybe EA will finally realize how much money they are missing out on;' though, their heads are pretty far up their asses at this point.

bf3 audio is better, animation is smoother, comms are cooler. you can even argue that graphically portal aint even superior. lighting is off, old textures in high res environment look bad. BF2042 should be deleted from exitence.

Bf 2042 has terrible audio. Distant background gun shots and explosions and jet noises can't be heard as loudly like in bf3. Everything is more quiet. I overall think bf3 had better audio and the tower falling sounds nicer in bf3 than in 2042.
